Will Creationism slowly fade away into oblivion?

The gish gallop does not strengthen your case, it makes you look like a spambot. I'm sure you guys are gonna be around for a while, but if you want people with opposing views to take you seriously then you can't just keep throwing piles of barely relevant information at the wall and taking...

Will Creationism slowly fade away into oblivion?

That is true. But there has to be some way to disprove it in the first place. If I claim that rainbows are the result of invisible and undetectable flying unicorns and present it in the form of a scientific article, would that need to be disproved as well? What predictions did Humphreys make...

    Is god a code monkey?

I have no idea what that means. I believe the capacity for language is instinctual, the capacity for the brain to arrange complex information into abstract patterns (or words, sentences, pictures, etc). I'm sure freethinker44 is not stating that we are borne knowing any particular language.

Will Creationism slowly fade away into oblivion?

Seriously? A two decade old example that has absolutely nothing to do with evolution. Besides, Humphrey went so far to make the big bang theory fit his holy scripture that he proposed the earth had been inside a time reversing reverse black hole during it's creation, explaining the higher age...

Will Creationism slowly fade away into oblivion?

When the creationist camp starts producing falsifiable hypotheses and going through the same peer review processes as any other scientist, they will be taken seriously.

    Is god a code monkey?

That would be pretty odd, given that we share genetic material and traits with all species on the planet, plus fossil evidence suggesting many different variations of human like species through history. That along with evidence of microevolution through the known history of humanity. I don't...

If Jesus could heal blind men, why didn't he just heal blindness?

Because he didn't understand genetics yet.

    Is god a code monkey?

Would an almighty, all powerful, all knowing being, create a whole universe by specifically tailoring every single entity in it? Wouldn't that be a pretty simple minded way of achieving things? Say we're talking about a computer programmer. Which would you be more impressed by? a) One that...

debating creationists: a library of good responses.

Everyone knows that evolution is just a conspiracy within the scientific community to justify their lack of belief in a god. Apparently biologists, geologists, physicists, paleontologists, the whole education system, every peer-reviewed scientific journal, the laws of physics and the media are...
