    Robots

The direction is ultimately irrelevant, the conclusion is that they behave in a similar manner.

    Robots

Yes it would be, or maybe we're only semisentient? The point being were not so different than machines, hell, you could even argue that cells behave like nanites.

    Robots

Why aren't we robots? We have several dozen systems that work in the background go regulate homeostasis, like a robot would if it was capable of similar functions, and we are each autonomous. Really the only real difference between ourselves and machines are that we have sentience and we are...

    LHP and RHP

In my personal opinion, the LHP is more experimentation and open to personal experience while RHP is the opposite. That's honestly what it boils down to: two different approaches, each with arguable validity

Why do Gentiles assume they should follow the ten commandments?

Christian Gentiles follow the ten commandments because they believe they should, even though they do not.

    Death Penalty

Doesn't many of those depend on the decision of the defendant. They don't have to appeal. If they don't appeal, the two major costs are eliminated. Execution is a deterrent if nothing else.

    Death Penalty

Lethal injection is ultimately more cost effective than finding new ways to rehabilitate prisoners. Not that this justifies execution, just something to think about.

    what gives credibility?

If a person can truly believe something, then it holds credibility to them.

    Death Penalty

I agree with it. It's a practical and sometimes a necessary course of action. No, my view is not influenced by my faith. I held this view even while I was a Christian.

    legalizing in the modern church

Honestly, its a toss up. Religions and sects have been dying out for thousands of years. If they can't keep themselves alive, does it really matter in the grand scheme of things?

    the science of faith.

As a Christian, don't you you believe in yahweh and Jesus by sheer virtue of the name? If you resent god, do you really believe in him?

    Abraham and Isaac

This is one of the situations that reassure me that I made the right decision by leaving the church.

Answers these questions to see if you are a Good Person

Yes Yes Hell yes Yes. Every day. If my faith in Lord Enki means I go to hell, then so be it. At least I know my god.

    Ex Christians

I'm going to be honest, I tried my best to consolidate Christianity with what I know about magick, even ignoring magick as best I could. But Christianity's suffocation of anything spiritual was too much for me to handle.

    the science of faith.

The problem with your arguement is that it forgets the context. Believing in God based on faith alone requires accepting that an omnipotent entity with anger issues that resulted in the deaths of thousands, if not millions, of people and the flooding of the entire planet is the deity you wish to...

Can you believe in the infallabilty of the bible?

Please, Christianity has also been the cause of the most horrific acts in history. The Salem Witch Trials, the Inquisitions, The Crusades, The murder and subjugation of the Indians, and the holocaust..... Just to name a few.

Can you believe in the infallabilty of the bible?

Of course you can't trust the bible. The between the translation errors and the political agenda that resulted in the KJV, all you can do is hope for the best or find faith elsewhere. EDIT: It doesn't matter if only .001% of a translation is wrong, what matters is that it is wrong. Because the...
