Who decided Bahaullah was the second coming, a messenger from god and could write 15,000 tablets without any approval from this god?
Here's something I asked in another thread and couldn't get an answer on. Can you give us an answer please.
■The oneness of God
■The essential unity of...
So with the creation it took billions of years, yet with the Flood, Exodus, Jericho and a whole lot more it did in a flash.
No bible says he kick-started evolution, they're all very clear on that.
I would be delighted if you could show me, I can then show you if it's right or wrong. This is a...
■The oneness of God
■The essential unity of religion
■The unity of mankind
■Harmony of religion and science
■Independent investigation of truth
■The need for universal compulsory education
■The need for a universal auxiliary language
■Obedience to government and non-involvement in...
This is a question I can't get answered, here another try.
Did Bahaullah get one visit from the spirit he said was god? Then that was enough for him to write 15,000 tablets of his own ideas. Is this right?
This is where all the myths fall down. They haven't written anything that could have been from an all-knowing, all-seeing, omnipotent god. If one prophecy foretold anything with accuracy that could be a guide. If it wasn't in a pile of other prophecies and gave pinpoint dates, reasons...
That wasn't what I was driving at. The length of what a day is is up for discussion, but the actual creation myth isn't. A god either created it or didn't, not tiny parts that scientists haven't resolved. Why would a god need more than 24 hours to create something? He just says "Be there" and it...
The Earth can't stand up to a world that doesn't include famine, disease, wars, etc.
We are at 7 billion and in a short while 9 billion. Take out all the people who died from famine, disease, wars, etc. We would now be at 12 0r 20 billion. Cutting down the rain forest to grow food, killing...
I'm amused and slightly, very slightly, annoyed at people who claim god got involved in creation with the parts yet to be discovered.
The truth is obvious they don't believe in their bible stories, but unwilling to say so. Because the moment you leave those bible stories you're wavering from...
Darwin was the first brick in what now is a wall longer the GreatWall in China.
Again if you follow the Abrahamic religion you have to believe in Adam, Eve and 6 days. Not "Well we don't know this tiny little bit so god was involved."
So a god was involved in the parts we don't know about. That means it's no god ever written about. If you're a Christian you have 6 days to deal with if you believe your god created the Earth and all in it.
Unless you think your bible is lying to keep you from the truth.
I do know that climate change is going to cause a lot more unrest.
I do know that nations will continue to fight.
Empired will rise and fall.
I do know that science will discover many more new things including new forms of power.
And so does everyone else. Foretelling the exact date, reason...
It depends on what those lessons are. Teaching people to love each other, honor your parent, not covet others goods, don't steal, kill, etc are just good things for everyone to follow. They do not need a religion to enforce them.
Killing apostates, adulterers, slavery, stoning to death...
Once a person sinks themself into belief over facts it's only a degree to how much they cling on to either.
The more they believe the less notice they take of facts. For instance, it shocks me how many still call evolution a theory.
I found the clue on Wiki
"Brazilian evangelical bishop" added to that is "billionaire". Anyone preaching so much BS has to have radical views. LOL
As a follower of the worlds leading humble man, how does he accumulate so much wealth? LOL
Prophecies of Bahaullah yet to be realised.

The establishment of a World Commonwealth
The Lesser Peace
Signs for the coming of age of the human race
The Most Great Peace
Future Manifestation of God
New world order (Baháʼí)

It's my firm belief that many who come to religion after childhood are missing something in their life. A higher purpose, life after death, an explanation of why, how and who, something to believe in, etc.
So they find the religion that fulfils them better than others. And that leaves them...
