What if we accepted each others Religion?

There have been many religious wars, hatreds and prejudices. Is this acceptable? That people kill and destroy and shun one another because of religion or should religions reconcile their differences and set an example before humanity? Call it preaching but it’s not, it’s because I care and feel...

What if we accepted each others Religion?

This list I think covers them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve_Minor_Prophets

Unity in Submission to God’s Counsels.

To my knowledge referring to the Book of Certitude yes they are all Manifestations of God. consider that among the Prophets was Noah. When He was invested with the robe of Prophethood, and was moved by the Spirit of God to arise and proclaim His Cause, whoever believed in Him and acknowledged...

What if we accepted each others Religion?

We understand that God is above all comprehension but we can pray to God directly or through Jesus or the other Manifestations. To us on earth They all are Representatives of God Who speak on His behalf. This is how Baha’u’llah described this mystical relationship between God, the Manifestation...

What if we accepted each others Religion?

That people pray or meditate to God in different outward forms of expression but that God is beyond our comprehension. Anything we can imagine is not God but our imagination of God. We understand that there is only one God or one Ultimate Reality. People call Him different names. But it is the...

“The Son is equal to his Father”

Or another term is Sun of Truth.

What if we accepted each others Religion?

I personally find it very easy to accept all religions because mostly they all teach to be spiritual and a mercy to others. I don’t find that difficult to accept at all.

Unity in Submission to God’s Counsels.

The Manifestation of God is like the Sun while the minor prophets are rays of that sun but not independent Founders of religions.

What if we accepted each others Religion?

What we believe as the foundation of all religions is the spiritual teachings but the social laws change according to the needs of the age.

“The Son is equal to his Father”

Yes I found that also. Christ is God’s Spokes person but is not God in essence. Like a mirror reflecting the sun. We say the sun is in the mirror but the sun itself does not descend into the mirror. The mirror and the sun are separate entities.

Is religious faith beneficial or harmful?

Define religious faith more clearly. If by that you mean the acquiring of virtues such as patience, love, tolerance, forgiveness, peace loving, just and fair, respectful, courteous, compassionate, truthful, trustworthy, honest, caring, accepting, kind, generous, thoughtful, helpful, hospitable...

Unity in Submission to God’s Counsels.

According to Abdul-Baha… “The Founder of monotheism was Abraham; it is to Him that this concept can be traced, and the belief was current among the Children of Israel, even in the days of Socrates.” Selections from the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá ‘Abdu’l-Bahá Pause then to reflect upon the...

Unity in Submission to God’s Counsels.

Baha’is do recognise Samuel as a Prophet of God of the House of Israel as a minor Prophet. Pause then to reflect upon the difference between the virtues and perfections of Christ and the splendours and effulgences of Bahá’u’lláh, on the one hand, and the virtues of the Prophets of the House of...

Unity in Submission to God’s Counsels.

Pause then to reflect upon the difference between the virtues and perfections of Christ and the splendours and effulgences of Bahá’u’lláh, on the one hand, and the virtues of the Prophets of the House of Israel, such as Ezekiel or Samuel, on the other. All were the recipients of divine...

Unity in Submission to God’s Counsels.

Of course like you I’m not justifying any such thing. Unless it has been explained to us by Baha’u’llah and in the Baha’i Writings then we don’t know many of these things in the Bible. For example we are told that the story of Adam and Eve was not a real event just a story, that the Flood and...

What if we accepted each others Religion?

Of course the major religions are not the only truths out there. Any religion which promotes harmony, love and cooperation is prized and accepted too. But to just give a cart Blanche to accept any and every claimed religion without delineating boundaries would be highly irresponsible. Satan...

What if we accepted each others Religion?

People are free to believe what they want just as I am. So if people believe these things that has nothing to do with me. I pray in all churches, temples, pagodas to God or the Ultimate Reality, I just don’t worship the statues but others can if they want. I can pray and meditate anywhere. It’s...

What if we accepted each others Religion?

the Torah that God hath confirmed consists of the exact words that streamed forth at the bidding of God from the tongue of Him Who conversed with Him (Moses).
