LGBTIQCAPGNGFNBA? That's a real mouthful :D I'm sure it's just LGBT, sometimes they add in the Q. Anyway, much quicker for everyone. :)

Thanks for telling me :) If you find anything interesting in the text in regards to this thread, feel free to post them :D

Is Madhva's Dvaita Vedanta consistent with classical Hindu thought, and is it valid?

Thank you for the answer! And i am glad this conversation allowed you to find more knowledge of your sampradaya! :D Has Sri Madhvacharya and/or other Dvaita acharyas written down anyone who has left to this deepest part of andhantamas? Also, will you read the entire text? Do not feel pressured...

Is Madhva's Dvaita Vedanta consistent with classical Hindu thought, and is it valid?

Namaskaram Shreesha-ji! It is always lovely to see a new Hindu appear on the forum! We have another Vaishnava who is quite learned in Madhva's Dvaita Vedanta, his profile is here if you are interested in his postings...

Who was Krishna in your tradition?

My apologies, i am not at all informed about Baha'i scriptures. Regardless, this is something you may need to ask another Bahai who is learned in your religion's conception of Krishna, not a Hindu. :)

Hello Ameyatja ji! Yes, rather quiet :D I would, though that would mean deleting the lila of Siva turning into Gopeswara. I can still delete it if you insist though :)

    I like Hindu gods

I was an atheist before i developed an attraction to Lord Vishnu. Perhaps something like this will happen if you let it? :)

    Owls in Hinduism?

From what i know, owls are inauspicious and is related to Alakshmi, a demon who is the opposite of Lakshmi that represents misfortune and poverty.

Has Religion ever made you suicidal?

Never. Being religious (to me) affirms life, and is generally comforting :D

How difficult is it to not be Abrahamic?

I like Jesus but i generally have no interest in joining Abrahamic religions. :)

Who was Krishna in your tradition?

Yes Sri Vaishnavas worship the Lord as Sriman Narayana but its a mistake to call Lord Krishna as something separate from Narayana. If Narayana is God, it also means Lord Krishna is God. This extends to all of his manifestations. Though yes Vishnu is Para-Vasudeva (Supreme original form) in the...

Who was Krishna in your tradition?

To be fair, it's not just Gaudiya Vaishnavism, but all of Vaishnavism. All Vaishnavas see Lord Krishna as Bhagavan. :)

Who was Krishna in your tradition?

I chose the second option, but manifestation of God and incarnation of Vishnu are the same thing to me. :D Lord Krishna's life is detailed in the 10th Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam and to a lesser extent the Mahabharata (which includes the Bhagavad Gita). There are many written works made by...

Question for Hindus only, 'what in your eyes makes for a real Hindu?'

Pranam Maricon :) To me a "fellow Hindu" would be someone who worships a Hindu deity and believe in Hindu concepts, though i would not presume to call someone a non-Hindu if they do not subscribe to my opinion. Anyone can be a Hindu, you don't have to be born into it to be one, so those of the...

Can Men Cook Soles? Or Is It Only Women Who Can Cook Soles?

Both genders are born with the sole purpose of cooking soles :D

    Tat Tvam Asi

Pranam, Sirona. Yes, tat tvam asi means "thou art that". As there are many schools, there are different interpretations. Those of the Chaitanya sampradaya will see no different in "thou art that" and "thou art the same". The atma that resides in all beings is the energy of the Supreme Lord, we...

    So, Ten Planets then?

Thank you, but i was aware of that. I'm one of the people that don't really think Pluto is a planet but a dwarf planet. Nonetheless, it is fascinating that there is still debate on this :D

    So, Ten Planets then?

Out of curiosity, what do Astrophysicists disagree about Pluto being a planetoid?
