Matt Dillahunty is someone I follow regularly.
I feel he's most closely related with the channel The Atheist Experience.
His Debate with Sye seems to be a favorite of many people, including myself.
The video is about 2 hours long, so get ready to use up some free time if you're interested in...
I don't think such a form of teleportation would be possible, but this is a hypothetical question anyways.
I would use it without hesitation.
The possibility of this version of me dying in the creation of a perfectly identical version does not faze me.
To put it very simply, I don't care...
I was speaking in relation to humans, of course.
I am well aware that not every god can extinguish and ignite a star with a snap of their fingers, or fart out a stabilized universe that can harbor life.
Material evidence works best, but not only that is necessary.
God/s is/are extremely powerful, of course. A demonstration of that would also suffice.
I'm not interested in arguments for the existence of god(s), not unless they have evidence attached.
This one, easily.
Do you know how far any one subject in science could advance because of a simple conversation with an alien that can give such information? I could ask it the basics of how to manipulate biology, that would advance us in the direction of forever removing defects and diseases. I...
Anti-Theism is the position of those that oppose Theism.
Atheism applies to those who hold no god belief.
I would say that the position itself does seem rational.
The idea of god(s) is irrational, so is it rational to oppose something irrational?

A belief structure like religion may better unify a community, but I don't see how it could be considered a necessity.
The world would be better off without theism.
There are plenty of religions that mainly focus on living a spiritually satisfying life, and are mostly harmless.
Supposing it were true, we certainly have more in common with Aincrad than with Elder Tale.
Philosophically speaking, anything is possible.
The idea of being in a video game or otherwise simulation based world is interesting, but not at all likely.
Actually, humans don't really have the...
I guess he was just sitting there looking like that one guy from FMA.
This guy:
Seriously though, it probably would have really been something like that.
Being all powerful would mean lots of free time, an eternity of it, actually.
There should be laws against forced marriages and purchasable brides, but I don't see polygamy as that big of a deal.
If it works both ways and everything is consensual, I don't care what people do.
What are some things you find particularly annoying?
It really, really annoys me when people blare their crappy music while they drive.
Especially those people that have some sort of setup where you can't hear any words and the car just vibrates.
They get really annoying when you're stopped by...
