Homosexual is about genetic or hormons, or what ?

There is no conclusive scientific evidence which points to it being a genetic cause, or even a physiological one. It is rather, a psychological by product of society, experience and trauma.

    Disappointed by the God Delusion

But he is the per-eminent voice of atheism, alongside possibly Kraus. If he can not present a strong, cohesive argument, who can? I am genuinely asking your opinion on this.

    Disappointed by the God Delusion

This is one of the most famous, if not THE most famous atheistic book of modern times. So, a few months back, I decided to read it and I was utterly disappointed. Not as a muslim but as a person of intellect (a minor intellect but intellect nonetheless lol). Dawkins preface is curious, he talks...

Banning media which contain immoral/terrify/voilent/sexual element?

We know for a fact that some movies have led to copy cat killings or violence, we know for a fact that pornography corrupts human social and psychological well being and so on and so forth. I could quote decades of evidence but I'd rather you look it up yourself. Of course, this is not to say an...

Banning media which contain immoral/terrify/voilent/sexual element?

The people in power, professionals involved in the judicial system, local community groups who can petition their MPs/Councillors, community leaders from both religious and non-religious backgrounds. As is the case with most things really. For example, if there is a book preaching a cult which...

    The Muslim millennial

If you read your own link, it finds that the so called scholars who supported ISIS were arrested or criminals, so I got back to my original post, where I stated "mainstream scholars" not guys who have grown a beard, posted themselves on youtube and have become sheiks. They are criminals and have...

Who would you support to be President of the United States: Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton?

I'd vote Hilary, not just because her policies are better or at the very least, more sane but Trump is a racist, narrow minded buffoon. The complete opposite of the type of person you want in power.

    The Muslim millennial

That may be true but the OP is stating that the mindset (supposedly) of Arab muslims is changing and that they are NOW anti-ISIS. He neglects the fact that muslims, arab or otherwise, have always been anti DAESH.

Ask me any question about Christianity

Hi Red Dragon (cool name), I like that you have admitted that you believe the Bible may contain some errors. However it raises a major question with me. You said that you believe the Bible points to God (to a certain degree I agree) but if it is not perfect, how can you trust it to guide you...

    The Muslim millennial

I think the majority of Muslims all across the world were always anti-ISIS. There is not a single mainstream scholar who supported them and having known literally hundreds if not thousands of muslims in my life time, I have not met one who even to a tiny degree supports ISIS or is sympathetic...

How do you feel about other faiths?

From an Islamic perspective, everyone is allowed to practice their religion, go to religious festivals, temples etc. In fact, under Islamic guidelines for war, a religious figure such as a priest or a religious building are not allowed to be harmed, unless they are being used with a military...

Why is suffering present in this world?

    Thank you brother.

Why is suffering present in this world?

This is different to what the thread was asking us but it's a good question. God did not just create us, human beings to worship him but all creation. The difference is, lesser forms of life, with lower intellects and no free will, have no choice or say in the matter.

Banning media which contain immoral/terrify/voilent/sexual element?

If something is genuinely harmful to society then yes, it should be banned.

Why is suffering present in this world?

    What do you mean?

Why is suffering present in this world?

Your initial statement, found within your first question is incorrect. The world is not corrupt. Certain aspects of it certainly are but to label the world corrupt would require the whole world to be corrupt. If you were to say some parts of the world and some leaders are corrupt, I'd agree...

There Are No Errors In The Gathas

That sounds great and I do agree, the aim of any sane religion would be to do good but what does "Good Thoughts, Good Words and Good Deeds" actually mean in real terms? For example, what would it mean for me if I was in a situation of, like I said before, familial dispute. What practical advice...

How Do Europeans Feel About Islam?

These are quite well known stats put forward by europol. Google them. The data is last available for 2013 if I'm not mistaken. I'm glad you didn't dispute any of the other facts or we'd be here all year.

There Are No Errors In The Gathas

You can still receive advice and have free will, correct? So what real world problems can be solved by this? If none, then what is the point?

Do some people really find the Bhagavad Gita evil?

But I just directly quoted from the Gita, you are telling me you're right and the Gita is wrong or have I misunderstood?
