    Evidences Supporting the Biblical Flood

Can I come alone? I love Yahbut hunting too! Sorry, I coundn't resist. Anyway, on subjects like this it helps to get a little levity in once in awhile.

    Evidences Supporting the Biblical Flood

I see your point, ( I have not had a chance to read the whole thing before your response so I can only reply to what I have seen so far) the paper seems to follow the scientific method from what I have seen so far. But if like what you say they were instructed to ignore conflicting evidence it...

    Evidences Supporting the Biblical Flood

That would seem odd they would be made to swear such a thing, would you have a reference?

    Evidences Supporting the Biblical Flood

Why do you say that? Because of who wrote it?

    Evidences Supporting the Biblical Flood

OK... I am not sure of your list, but with God I can say God's power caused it all to happen for all 20.

    Evidences Supporting the Biblical Flood

I follow your logic, and even agree that if the only reason to destroy most all life is all God wanted, there may have been a better way. However, I do not know the mind of God and do not why this method was chosen over any other, I do have an idea, but that is all. But this conversation I feel...

    Evidences Supporting the Biblical Flood

Isn't this thread about the biblical flood? If so how can we take God out of the conversation? All Abrahamic Religions believe in God, so to say we are going to take the power of God out of a story we believe in is not going to work, as that is what we believe (God is all powerful). I doubt...

For Christians. Was the flood real or just a myth?

I think that would be a good idea.

I just saw this ridiculous commercial for the 2nd time:

It brings the genetics of the species closer in line with each other. If it was brought down to a small number like two (not to imply the flood, just using it to exaggerate the explanation) all members of the species after the event would carry the genetics of those original two of the species...

I just saw this ridiculous commercial for the 2nd time:

OK, that's a lot better. But I did respond saying that I feel it helps prove an extinction event for evolution. The Bible has the flood as an extinction event. Not that the Bible needs and extinction event, because if God Created man and all the animals after their kind, the species would...

I just saw this ridiculous commercial for the 2nd time:

OK, I guess I missed it. What evidence did you give me? You say "Why would I believe in a God that lies?" I asked to be shown where. And you posted this. I find an insult, a question and a statement. None of which proves God lies or even an explanation of why it would. My view of a 'worldwide...

I just saw this ridiculous commercial for the 2nd time:

Thank you for calling me uneducated. I have never said that I possess any amazing intellectual abilities, but it is always nice to be reminded to keep me humble. I would think the flood myth would not rely on it as much as evolution would. Not that I am making a case for evolution, but I would...

Could you show where false evidence was planted?

I just saw this ridiculous commercial for the 2nd time:

No, I do not believe God to be a liar. Could you point out were you feel the lie lays. Maybe I will learn something.

To whom would you turn, for advice?

Off topic, but I love the kitty in your avatar. Black cats are so mistreated by some, but are such good cats.

Yea, I know you were playin, I was too, just havin a bit of fun. Although what I said I do believe. In reading over the thread it looks like you have been doing a great job. Keeping it light but moving along without getting personal. Good Job!

To whom would you turn, for advice?

Thank you for your respect. Usually a reply like I made is met with criticism and ridicule. So I almost did not answer as I am sure I will hear some of that by the end of tomorrow. But in reading your post I felt you were sincere in your post. So again thank you for you respect of my view, even...

Thanks for the like on the ridiculous commercial. You have my support.

I just saw this ridiculous commercial for the 2nd time:

Well its actually 3 against 1,000, I hope, as we have God too. However, I may have lowered your odds. God seem to like a small army, remember Gideon, and then there was David. God and David alone.

I do, the version told in the Bible.
