Since there are too many references and sources and quotes, for starters I will not give these sources, in order to make the post short, or else it won’t be a post… it will be a book lol
But, be sure I have everything needed to back up what I write and everything is available if someone asks...
That's my all time fav topic :D
I started a thread about it about a month ago, but didn't get much attention.
Take a look if you wish here
...And I'll be back. :cool:

So, in other words, you are saying that besides god there was also something else that is responsible for everything evil? Like a “bad god”?
If so, why did “good god” allowed “bad god” to have a say in creation? He wasn’t “strong” enough to stop him or was there a plan?
~~~
Sure! Why not? :D...
Oh, he is Muslim! OK, now I get it :D
~~~
Paarsurrey, how come you didn’t comment on Tumah’s photos?
Is it because it’s inconvenient or because he is Jewish…?

The Sun is life giving. Work or no work, nature needs the Sun to continue existing.
So, I don't really see your point.
P.S.: <<The sun was a symbol of bounties of G-d which humans enjoyed in life without putting any labour into it>> quote please?
.
As mentioned above: it symbolizes the Sun, because it's precious, sparkly and stays the same for ever.
Also, it is said that the Sun was the first thing people ever worshipped.
All later supreme gods are merely a personification of the Sun.
Simple as that.
Not exactly. Read about it.
You are much welcomed :D

It’s : D with no spaces between.
This conversation is starting to loop. I think we reached the point that it’s pointless to keep talking about it and it’s best to agree that we disagree.

Yes, knowing a text can give you an advantage but also can make you blind in different interpretations. You know “this way” for many years (probably since you where born) and it’s really hard to see “that way”.
Me, who I’m not Muslim and have read the Qur’an as an adult and only a couple of...
I mean: READ ABOUT THE STOCKHOLM SYNDROME.
I love your arguments. They are so mature and well delivered :)
The Ephesians is an Epistle by Paul, not a Gospel, dear. It is in the NT but it’s not a Gospel.
The canonical Gospels are 4: Gospel according to Luke, Gospel according to Mathew...
Yes. And “the bright morning star” is also planet Venus.
In the Greek translation Lucifer is “Eosforos” (eos = light + foros = bearer) which is a very direct reference to the planet Venus, also known as “Avgerinos”.
Here in Greece, the morning prayer in church is still called “Avgerinos”.
.
It is obvious that you have no idea about psychology and therefore about what I’m talking about. “Stockholm Syndrome”… look it up.
So, you agree?!
Thanks for the references :)
I’m happy to see that there are none in the Gospels!
I have no clue about British politics but the lady does seem...
OK then you explain to me what these verses really mean.
Once again: two wrongs do not make one right.
Also, when I see a today’s Jew or Christian actually encouraging slavery by invoking the Bible, like the Muslim lady does to the OP by invoking the Qur’an, be sure I’ll make a huge fuss...
Are you sure about the NT?
Passage please.
And ancient Greece is well known for treating slaves like simple free employees, but that doesn’t mean that they weren’t slaves! Do not try to twist things to fit you. Slavery is slavery. Some treated their slaves badly others with compassion. But...
I don’t think that people supporting the same team will go to such extremes as killing fellow-fans, like Muslims did to Sufis, Protestants to Catholics (and vise versa), and so on.
BTW: When I wrote: “Christians vs Muslims vs Jewish vs Pagans vs Polytheists and so on”, I didn’t mean it in this...
Yes dear. And I’m queen Cleopatra.
Passages, please.
This video is 2 hours long! I think it’s a time problem.
Personally, I watched some parts of it here and there. That was all the time I had for it.
It is good that there are Muslims that ban slavery, but that doesn’t change the fact that...
Exactly :)
I think I’ll need an example for this. I don’t really get it…:oops:
Hahaha! I think Atheists have a more serious god complex than us Pantheists! :p
