    Loss

I'm so sorry to hear this, Drole. Losing a companion is really hard. Remember the good times. We're here for you. *biggest comforting hug possible*

    Oral

I really REALLY like giving. I never used to, though. I'm not that keen on receiving, but it does help now I'm with someone who knows what they're doing down there, and is good at making me feel comfy so I can relax about it.

Do you ever get the feeling there could be a higher power?

Thank you for taking the time to explain. Some food for thought there :-)

Why horses were used for riding just few thousands of years ago ?

A human probably looked at a horse and though, "My butt would fit on that," and gave it a whirl. :-)

Do you ever get the feeling there could be a higher power?

Theism speaks of belief. Gnosticism speaks of knowledge. They are indeed different concepts. This might help:

    Is pantheism theistic or atheistic?

@Lyndon, No, the Sikh "God" is not Allah, "same as Muslim". The Sikh idea of "God" is panentheistic, despite Sikhism commonly being called monotheistic.

Do you ever get the feeling there could be a higher power?

Thanks everyone for your replies. Apparently I misunderstood my friend, who says he never said what I said he said. O.O He said he can understand how people feel the need for there to be a higher power. Which really isn't what I heard him say the first time *narrow eyes*

Do you ever get the feeling there could be a higher power?

G'day I was discussing a/theism with a friend of mine recently, who is an atheist. He admitted he sometimes 'feels' there could be a higher power, and/or wants there to be a 'greater purpose' in life, but then he does a reality check and moves on. He can understand how other people pursue...

I think it's a bad idea as well.

    Chat extension (Installation guide)

Thank Infi! :) Nice work! And @Sha'irullah, it's really easy to install. It is really just a couple of clicks. :) Infi, my feedback so far is: is there any way to make the highlighting case-insensitive? Also, just FYI, the name refresh thingy doesn't seem to be working for me. Either that...

    I think I saw Waheguru's light?

The light was a firing of your optic nerve triggered by concentrating too hard. Seriously. Waheguru's light is not actual light. You do not see Waheguru while meditating quietly self-absorbed in your own mind You see Waheguru in the compassion that burns in your heart when you help someone in...
