    Sikhism or Asatru?

I'd like to hear your thoughts on how blending these religions might work for you, TM.

    Sikhism or Asatru?

Sikhism is strictly mono- or panen- theistic. I'm not sure you could blend Asatru with Sikhism without a fair amount of cognitive dissonance.

How do you express love for your significant other(s)?

For those of us in relationships, how do you express your love for your partner(s)? For me, some are: Acceptance and appreciation of their unique personality and quirks Being understanding and non-judgmental Being considerate of the other person's needs and desires without disregarding my own.

    Does God have free will?

Is it still free will if you can't actually do something that is against natural law? I haven't seen any evidence yet that God can operate outside of these laws. Presumably if God really did have free will do whatever as He pleased, he could transcend the laws he created.

    Gospel of Thomas and Women

Okay, I think I understand you better now. By 'virgin' you mean a young woman, not necessarily a non sexually active person. Throughout the Granth Sahib, imagery is used where the human soul is described as the 'soul bride' and the Creative Force is described as the 'Husband Lord' Often you...

    Sikhism or Asatru?

Toxikmynd I am also more culturally matched to Asatru than Sikhi. I've looked into both. And as others have said, they are worlds apart. What is it that attracts you to Sikhi? How is it that you are attracted to both at the same time? For me: Asatru is appealing for much the same reason...

    Hecate and the Blue Boy

Hmm, to be honest I never saw it as a 'pay them back for favours'. You're better off asking some Hellenic recons that question. I guess a lot of it depends on the type of relationship you have with the deity. A one-off arrangement (I need help with this specific problem so I'm asking this...

    Hecate and the Blue Boy

Hello. Maybe something in the air but this past week I've been preoccupied with Hekate a lot, myself. To the point of thinking about honouring her at new moon, but I haven't done that in 8 years. I totally get the feeling of warmth and closeness. I also understand the fear. However, it...
