GOP: Autism is god's wrath on America

LOL, the young folks who voted for the first time in their lives for hope and change have been disappointed with the reality of their messiah. Health care for all? These young voters have been enslaved with the requirement to spend money they do not have for health insurance that pays for very...

Malay Muslims upset over Christian use of "Allah" to refer to god

James says faith without works is dead. I believe you cannot help but have works if you have faith. Works may not get you into heaven, but not having any works would indicate a lack of faith.

GOP: Autism is god's wrath on America

I mean how dare an American exercise free speech or cling to their religion or guns? Imagine that they actually register and vote. Damn Republicans, they stand in the way of progress and slow the Liberal movement. They actually have the nerve to expect government to balance their budget...

GOP: Autism is god's wrath on America

Gotta love democracy, the only system were 3 wolves and one sheep vote on what is for dinner. Myself, I am glad I live in a Republic.

Malay Muslims upset over Christian use of "Allah" to refer to god

Infallible word of God right? If this is true why does the Prodastant Bible have less books in it? Seriously, Jesus never put a pen to paper or anything else. The Bible is written by man and man is not perfect. The only perfect one never wrote anything. Perhaps the "Son of God" has different...

GOP: Autism is god's wrath on America

LOL and if we become a nation of loons we will have a loon for president. Such is the expected result of democracy. :D

Malay Muslims upset over Christian use of "Allah" to refer to god

So who decides Myth from fact? Calling religion Myth is subjective. I can't prove anything one way from another and even if I could it would not change what people choose to believe.

Geeze KT religion is mythology? Thanks for the Atheist sermon. :p

Malay Muslims upset over Christian use of "Allah" to refer to god

Please let me ask a question, If Jesus was the last to prophesize, why does Paul ask us to pray for greater gifts than speaking in tongues?

Malay Muslims upset over Christian use of "Allah" to refer to god

Bull hocky. Read Gen 20-22. All three religions are Abrahamic and from the same God. God's promise to Haggar is no less or no more than God's promise to Abraham. I would say 2 billion Muslims are indeed a great nation. You do still read the Old Testament right? Jesus was a Jew right? Allah is...

85 wealthiest people richer than half of the worlds population - what are the consequences?

LOL, thats why it is a non-issue. Now if they made a video game that would translate into real life, the younger and poorer generation would kick our butts. What will happen however is the people who could really help the situation by hiring folks in small business will receive the abuse...

GOP: Autism is god's wrath on America

So what is the solution here? Fundies not being able to vote? I could get behind testing voters for their ability to make a decision or who the speaker of the house is. I have a question, are any of you calling to abolish the GOP? Do many of you want a one party system in this country?

Good Reason To Have An AR-15

I have heard Jeff complain he would not want to be in the same room as a person carrying a gun. It makes him uncomfortable. I will tell you what makes me uncomfortable, people texting and driving. They are by far more dangerous driving a 6000 pound truck towards you at 70 MPH and all they have...

Good Reason To Have An AR-15

I have never said that there is not a danger or risk owning firearms. I have a chainsaw in the barn, that thing is dangerous. I keep a blade guard on it because it can hurt you when it is not running. You can back your car over rug rats if you don't keep an eye on them. They can drown in the...

Good Reason To Have An AR-15

Thats it? Seriously? Thats you arguement? I'm sorry Jeff, that is the most emotionally lame arguement I have ever heard for you to take my guns. I could jump off a building, bridge, cliff..... You know what? If I want to kill myself, that should be my right. An emotional appeal to some wus...

85 wealthiest people richer than half of the worlds population - what are the consequences?

One person's empty partisan rhetoric is anothers evidence-based statements. A good example would be people telling me that the ACA is going to make my health care cheaper or the democratic party is the fiscal party. Now, before you shift focus on me, I think both parties have not...

Good Reason To Have An AR-15

Your neighbors may decide to take what you have instead of sharing. If everyone comes to dine today, what will you eat tomorrow? Don't tell me you have enough for your whole community. And yes, I see preparedness as a local thing more than an apocalypse. Storm, earthquake, terrorist attack...

85 wealthiest people richer than half of the worlds population - what are the consequences?

Most people's politics are ruled by emotion more than anything. Today's media can reinforce just about any position. People can pretend to use logic but all sides break down at some point. There is no pure logic and hypocrisy abounds on both sides.

"Where a rational conversation about guns ought to start"

Meh.... the barrel gets hot enough with the semi autos. Also from a tactical consideration, squirting all your rounds out at once is a bad option IMHO. If I was in need of a full auto, I would choose a long gun.
