    Draw Muhammad day

or.... just because you have the RIGHT to slander, disrespect, and misrepresent (ie, paint an unflattering and even maligning picture of) homosexuals, it doesn't mean you Should. You do realize, that to homosexual couples in love, their partnerships ... are sacred to them.

    Draw Muhammad day

I'm going to try this one. (Even though one can...), if expressing disdain for homosexuality is going to upset millions of people, perhaps one SHOULDN'T.

    Draw Muhammad day

I think this is an excellent point. It's good for us ALL to have our sensitivities stretched from time to time. All too often we take our own things far too seriously. We become overly defensive and humorless. This actually is one of the reasons I love comedy, film, music .. art in general...

    Draw Muhammad day

I just drew a stick figure of Muhammad. Clearly labeled it 'Muhammad' just in case someone might have thought it was a stick figure of someone else. I feel much better now. *suddenly feels like a game of hangman*

    Would you rather?

That describes my life already. (except that I don't get a good uninterrupeted days sleep) I'd take the Nights sleep interrupted by lots of great sex. That would be an improvement all around. If you had two job offers, and the job that really inspired you-- worthy...

    Draw Muhammad day

It's primarily a culture clash between the reverent and the irreverent. I have to be honest. I prefer 'the irreverent'. Do comedians HAVE TO be irreverent? Well... ok, yes. But do they HAVE TO be comedians?

What's so bad about "woo-woo" beliefs?

Casting (forming) Spells (spellings) is.... well.... never mind.

    Divine mission, and why ?

Thus the last line of my quote.... IMO it's a bad idea to make 'missions' (or anything else) of other people, or other people's lives. If other people prefer not to see themselves as divine, it's no matter of mine. I'm certainly not the "you should see yourSelf this way" police. See...

    Divine mission, and why ?

'guru' is not part of my personal vocabulary, however... I would see Awakening the Divinity in others (ie, Awakening others to their Own Divinity) to be the most Divine 'Mission' one could undertake in regards to one's divine influence on others. That said, I'm pretty sure it's not a good...

What's so bad about "woo-woo" beliefs?

IMO 'the hidden'/'the covered'/'the eclipsed', implies the esoteric. Any practice that is more concerned with itself (the outer... visible forms, molds or 'casts' of the thing) than the enrichment of the Inner Life the practice is (supposedly) employed to serve, is not occult (hidden).... or...

What's so bad about "woo-woo" beliefs?

Whatever names you slap on them, some people employ .... things that engage them.... to healthy, personally enriching ends. In another person's hands (mind), the very same externals (outer tools) can instead result in great personal loss. This could be said about many things... many...

    Perhaps a Sabbatical

I don't think it really should be anyone's ... ummm... 'mission', to convince (or even 'show') other people (their own) truths. Beyond that, I don't think it's really even possible. Individuals will always see their own truths, or the 'truths' they choose to see anyway. I'm not sure what's...

Is it ok to mock beliefs?

Sometimes a bit of mockery is JUST the right thing.... :hearts:

Is it ok to mock beliefs?

Mystic believes she's goddess of the whip. She puts on her magic pleather and becomes She'ra. You're gunna have to prove it to me baby. No. Seriously. Prove it. :flirt:

    The Pentagram

Heh. I don a Pentagram Set, instead of a Set Pentagram.

    The Pentagram

On second thought, it's not really a ten pointed star, but a pentagram SET. Two stars, Two hands. Even when I overlay the two stars, I make sure each one is distinctly visible from the other. I guess then it's the 'double pentagram'? One for each hand. ;) Right and Left. 'on the other...

    Why are people Catholic?

And then there are those who go really, just because they were raised RCatholic, and their whole family goes, so they go. All kinds of investment in Religious education and communion and confirmation and all that. It's all a major part of their larger family affair/s. Parties, get togethers...

    Why are people Catholic?

Traditional RC mass settings create a mystical ambience not found in many other mainsream churches. Beyond the mystical asthetic are the 7 'mystical' sacraments, all BTW, of which you NEED the RC church to partake in- creating also a scenario of dependence... on the institution itself... for...
