What happens when I kid turns 13? Do they disappear for a year?
In many residential homes they wont have a 13th room. One home I goes to has 13 residents and its 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,7A,8,9,10,11,12 and then with the bells it comes up as 14 not 13.
I agree with you...but the other members of the church are just as capable to get social services involved as I am and they understand that it isnt theological support he needs at the moment, it is actual social support.
Im not doing anything anymore...I am backing off....its up to him and them...
Ill check back in on him though, I am not that mean..
I do feel bad for backing off for a bit, but I need to...and I think its best for him as well as he has become too attached to me.
I was thinking that! I would have thought most would vote both personally, as I was taught that many people will gain eternal life, but there is differing degrees of it. I suppose most of the mormons that voted for one were thinking of the ultimate eternal life?? perhaps??
I have decided to back off....I am deeply concerned for his safety, but I cant take it anymore. I spoke to my Bishop last night...of which I am very grateful for him meeting me so late at the chapel. At least other people are now aware of the struggles!
The text I recieved off him yesterday...

I didnt realise you dont go to Church - came as a bit of a surprise!
I just got back from speaking with the Bishop, it was lovely, he was lovely, very helpful - gave me a blessing - it was wonderful to feel The Spirit again! It made me feel so much better! Bishop is so helpful offering to see...
Well this just seems to be going from bad to worse....I am feeling awful for keep moaning at my friends at the Church - they are all lovely and have no concerns about me going to them, but they have their own lives to lead. So I thought I would come and moan some more to you guys! Hope thats OK...
For the two times we met, which was at my house before I attended the Church, it was myself, the two missionaries and a male member of the Church.
I think having a female LDS member (even one of the girls I know now) would have been better.
Any sort of plan to the lessons wasnt about when I...
Its because missionaries (males) aren't allowed to be left alone with females.
The way they explained it to me was that its to make the female person they are talking to feel more comfortable...to which I replied "turning two men into three is really going to do that "
I can...
Just wondering if it was posisble for a member who has already been baptised but then gone inactive for some time and returned to be rebaptised. I think I already know the answer (no) but wanted to make sure.
The reason I ask is when (and I am saying when) I am able to fully return to the...
