Yes, you can. The Miracles are stories that can help us understand, but to require belief in them in a post-Newtonian world is a bit... counter-productive. To forbid belief in Miracles is the same.

I'd say that the number of Sons of God is always the same as the number of people, no matter what age. The difference is in the number of people who recognise that fact and live like Sons of God.
