    Is church attendance that important?

    Perhaps you just haven't found the right church for you yet. Of course, you don't have to be a part of a church to help the sick and the poor, but a good place of worship can be a good source of community and support.

    I agree with you on both points. And I do understand that these people don't represent the Jewish people. Hopefully this behavior is only from a very small minority. I was very surprised and saddened when I saw this. I personally cannot imagine spitting on (or near as @dybmh pointed out)...

    I came across this and other disturbing videos on YouTube showing some religious Jews in Israel spitting on Christian worshipers. Some videos show them being physically attacked. In other videos Netanyahu has denounced this behavior. Why would this group of people be spitting on other folks?

    That's interesting about the fabled evil wizard. I have a good friend that grew up in Ireland. He said whe he was a child, Banshees were the things that scared him. He said that every time a cat yowled at night it was said it was a banshee.

    By the current political standards in the USA, I'm a moderate. But the line seems to change with time. In the 1950s I would have been considered a liberal. And unfortunately I have found myself voting against a particular candidate rather than for their opponent.

    I have no faith in either major party at this point. Both parties have gone so far from center I have little in common with either. I changed my political affiliation to Independent.

    The Democrats need an alternative to Biden. His cognitive ability is declining to the point that I don't see how he could conceivably complete another term as president. Not to mention debate with the republican candidate running against him.

    Challenge for those that believe in billions of years for the age of things. Give anything that is more than 6000 years old. NO ASSUMPTIONS ALLOWED.

    YEC and flat earth believers seem to walk hand in hand. Belief in both rely on a predetermined end.
