I don't know. The idea of cremation frightens me... that's the last thing I want to happen.
Athough, the idea of being made into a gem, or a firework, or pencil freaks me out too.
I guess people would argue that God gave them the ability and meant the baby to be saved.
I never quite understand how all the good things are gifts from God, yet anything bad isn't - as we have seen from the OT God is very capable of doing bad. Why the change?
Justified force is acceptable in my opinion. If someone comes on too strong, potential rape or not - doing something that could kill him is not justifiable to me.
I've heard arguments like this a lot. It seems that good things like having a baby is often seen as a miracle from God, yet if the baby dies before or after birth, people will never blame God.

I can see your point, but I still do not believe that some force, or whatever you want to call it is able to decide our fate, and design how out lives will go.
That does reduce the option of free will. It says I can do whatever I like in life but will still do what has been planned for me...
Many might just carry on in the religion they were brought up in, but the majority will still only be in a religion if they believe that it is true. Who would stay in a faith while believeing it is all a lie, or another religion is the true religion?
