    Seems like a normal thing to do to me. Any time you see any power gained in this nation (and I would suppose it to be true of all nations) expect it to become normal. The Constitution is updated at every power gain, this is just how it works.

    Does religion or lack of religion make a person better or worse than another

    I consider religion to be a virtue so if a person lacks it or is not as developed in it compared to another person otherwise equal then they would be a worse human being. Such is my opinion for now.

    Some people hold to ideas about god which are wrong is what I meant. I think no one understands God completely but there are accurate ideas about God and contrary ones are wrong.

    Why would you judge by what you hold to be error? I don't find it wrong because I consider Christ to be the standard and rule of all. To judge a person by their own standard when I think it is wrong to me would be like to say a murderer did good because by his own standard he achieved his aim...

    What does it actually means to be monothistic?

    Monotheism is not a term I would personally use to describe myself, but it seems to me believing in the existence of one deity, that only one deity exists. The belief that there are many gods but you should only worship one of them is monolatry (and called henotheism?).
