If Christ wasn't the messiah, what was he?

Hes with those doing what he said. Just because someone claims to be part of Jesus' congregation doesnt mean they are Peasant or scholar didnt matter, what mattered was their heart condition. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven- Mt 5:3

If Christ wasn't the messiah, what was he?

The point of the broad gate is that many think they are doing Gods will when they actually arent. "Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. Many will say to me in that day...

Why was God's name removed from most bibles?

Why would you even think i think that means being a Christian is not important? Jesus is definitely part of it. Its only through his innocent blood we are bought. But is it saying Jesus is Yhwh? No. Jesus himself said hes Gods Son. Jesus always gave credit to his Father. The message about...

Why was God's name removed from most bibles?

No, I dont. The NT scriptures are not the originals. Man's traditions had already sunk in. When Jesus read in the synagogues it would have been in Hebrew and he would have read it accurately. Also when Jesus quoted the OT he wouldnt have replaced Gods name with adjectives.

Do you have a scripture youre referencing?

Why was God's name removed from most bibles?

"I believe" vs what God says to do are often very 2 different things. Several verses were posted where scriptures say you need to use God's name. But thats only if you believe scripture is from God and you obey it- "However, become doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves...

If Christ wasn't the messiah, what was he?

Why do you need your numbers refuted? You pointed out Jehovahs Witnesses are a minority and i pointed out Jesus said his followers would be as well.

Why was God's name removed from most bibles?

At first that does seem logical. But thats what translations are for, so you dont have to learn another language to understand something. Many people already learned a language(like Hebrew) or grew up with it and shared it in another language. It seems to me some people like to think they hold...

Why was God's name removed from most bibles?

To me, saying you cant understand it unless you kow Hebrew makes no sense. I think people speaking of the Hebrew scriptures are the only people ive ever heard make such a claim about language.

If Christ wasn't the messiah, what was he?

As Jesus said it would be. "Go in through the narrow gate, because broad is the gate and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are finding it" Mt 7-13-14

If Christ wasn't the messiah, what was he?

He also said most are on the path to destruction while few find the path to life.

If Christ wasn't the messiah, what was he?

Jesus only had a tiny group to start.

What does God want from you?

That is one reason peace is fleeting to the world, many look for it in riches.

Why was God's name removed from most bibles?

Youre placing semantics. I never claimed it was removed from existence. I said its removed from most bibles, which it is. To add to your point about it being in Hebrew there is nothing wrong with translating it into other languages yet they dont. And yes scripture is written by men, inspired...

If Christ wasn't the messiah, what was he?

Thats whats some of them teach, not all. After all simply calling Jesus god is correct as he is one. As is Satan too. Though niether of them are Yhwh.

What does God want from you?

Yes. Peace is a fruitage of Gods spirit. "On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith" Gal 5:23 The peace God gives is something that isnt easily stripped away. As with many in the world where peace is temporary and fleeting.
