What should the West do Now about Islamic Terrorism?

Exactly: a lot of them aren't fussed about dying. The people who are fussed about dying though - the civilians - will inevitably get caught up in the mess and will probably have the highest body count. In turn this will generate even more anti-west sentiment and radicalized recruits, which will...

What should the West do Now about Islamic Terrorism?

Yeah: lazy targeting. This too is a short-sighted and lazy perspective. Damned if you do... ... damned if you don't. Though having said that, are the Tutsis and moderate Hutus from Rwanda staging terrorist attacks in other countries for not intervening during their genocide? If you...

What should the West do Now about Islamic Terrorism?

Honestly that sounds like a terrible idea: unnecessary military interventions enacted under dubious reasons is one of the primary causes for this mess.

What should the West do Now about Islamic Terrorism?

A significant number of western civilians (perhaps even the majority) disagree and disapprove of such actions, yet they're carried out anyway by our governments. The terrorists aren't targeting the politicians though: they're just lazily targeting civilians. Finally, not all of the terrorists...

Canuckistan Bans Internet Use For Sex Offendors

Though what would be done to female/non-male rapists? Also, I'm inclined to agree with Groundskeeper Willy that such an irreversible permanent punishment - for something which may not be able to be proven beyond reasonable doubt - may not be the best approach. Containment feels more appropriate...

Terror attack in Nice [confirmed] - Lorry rammed into crowd - at least 30 dead

Replace "muslims" with "fanatics" and you've pretty much got it covered globally.

Canuckistan Bans Internet Use For Sex Offendors

One doesn't need a penis to sexually abuse someone else. I honestly don't know how to approach this situation: my gut emotional response is "death penalty" but I am actually against it. Sometimes I just think life imprisonment is the solution, no matter how expensive. I mean seriously, who wants...

"moderate"rebels in Syria slaughter 12 years old

This is why interventionist foreign policy is a bad idea.

Is it religiously wrong to commit a suicide?

Because (amongst other things) it appears to be an awkward hybrid of both predetermination and free will. From an outisder's perspective, it doesn't really make much sense: why not give everyone the same predetermined lifespan, a 'hierarchy' of different merits/sins, and see how they behave from...

Is it religiously wrong to commit a suicide?

Perhaps it would help us form a hierarchy of different sins based on the amount of years shaved off our lives? I'm just curious as to how this whole thing is supposed to work.

Would u be happy if the brave servant of Allah was overthrown?

This 'universal right' you talk of, don't Homosexuals also enjoy a universal right to exist - free of oppression - in a country?

Is it religiously wrong to commit a suicide?

How do we determine who lost years due to predetermination versus sin, and to what degree does "sin" affect a person's overall "merit rating"?

    Correct, thanks. :)

Assuming the garden of Eden is true

That and then punishing all the dog's offspring for it too. The whole thing makes zero sense, it just reeks of early primitive human attempts to control people through fear.

Possible Islamist inspired attack on train in Germany

I don't understand what you mean here, could you perhaps rephrase the question?

Is it religiously wrong to commit a suicide?

So does that mean that those who die earlier than others are either less worthy or more sinful?
  17. Aquitaine

Is it religiously wrong to commit a suicide?

I see. Though for a significant portion of human history such "tests" have claimed plenty of lives. Can it really be much of a "test" if your life is drastically cut so short to begin with?

Terror attack in Nice [confirmed] - Lorry rammed into crowd - at least 30 dead

You sure? The Independent and The Telegraph are usually quite reliable in my opinion, though the Daily Mail isn't. Still, there are plenty of other news sources which state the large money claim.
