I have it.
It looks much like windows 8 but with a few really good features added and a couple of irritating features removed.
They did change the settings interface which i dont like.
This being said i think it is an overall inprovement and worth upgrading.
3 is the one with Rahtonaketon. I really enjoyed the hunting in that game and the fight mechanics were the best so far.
I was definitely not fond of the ship fighting part of the game. But if someone took the game engine from black flag and made a piratey type of game unrelated to AC i'd...
My god i love assassins creed.
It started to get a bit stale with Unity (which was horrible on multiple levels) but i am enjoying Syndicate.
I still think number three was the best so far.
When i ask the question "why would god do this" i do not believe that god exists. I know that you or someone else believes that he/she/it exists and that is all i need to support a discussion on the topic.
I can definitely examine the motivations of a character without pretending it exists. I can separate people and their ideas in my head.
Perhaps not everyone can.
Getting back to the original source of this particular argument.
He/She/It was saying that if you can examine somethings...
Imagining something manifesting in real life is different than examining their motivations.
That's not to say i did not wish the Never Ending Story existed. I wanted to have a Falcor and i had a crush on the child like empress (i was a child at the time so its not creepy).
Yes you cannot...
Because well written fiction characters tend to hold a candle up to the human condition. In examining the motivations of Darth Vader we see the part of ourselves that would rule over people in order to create peace. We see a father looking at himself through the eyes of his child. In the end...
Does questioning the ethics of Darth Vader mean i believe that Darth Vader actually exists?
Do you honestly think that humans are so amazingly primitive that they cannot examine the motivations of something they do not believe exists?
What an amazingly stupid, vapid and ignorant statement.
No it is not. It is a judgement on their actions.
The individual may choose to extend that disapproval to them as a person. But that is their problem and ONLY their problem.
When judging the meaning of someones message, we as the receiver must ascertain what the person meant, not what we...
Some people can separate their feelings about someones actions and them as a person. It does take some maturity, but it is possible.
I agree bigotry is very rarely rational.
Don't get me wrong, Raahim gets no extra respect from me because he only hates the sin, not the sinner.
But i don't...
Who would have thought that hatred and bigotry would be responded to with negativity.
Perhaps the people on this forum are better human beings than you had hoped.
I am going to have to stick up for Raahim.
He is saying that he personally finds the acts repulsive but does not see the person as inherently bad for doing it.
I guess the important thing is that you think we are all stupid enough to think that claiming that you are not a homophobe hides your hatred and bigotry.
You sure have us tricked.
