I resurrected an old thread of yours on here and hope you have a chance to respond! I've been looking into Judaism for a while now but Noahidism seems a near perfect fit and I would love a chance to ask more questions, if you have the time. :)
I hope it's ok that I'm bringing back an old thread and that you are still around!
How did you initially come about Noahidism? What sources did you turn to in order to learn more? Have you studied Hebrew?
Does anyone have any good recommendations for books on the subject? Dictionaries, interpretation guides, etc? My sister's been asking for something like that and I don't have a clue what might even be considered reliable.
Sounds good... I tried putting the same as my Facebook religion status: A simplistic complexity of both theistic and philosophical qualities, not requiring a label of conformity, but alas - it would not fit. :p And ASCOBTAPNRALOC doesn't have quite the same ring as your abbreviation, LOL.
Does it always end in mid-Feb? Because our anniversary is Feb. 29th and we'd be travelling from a few days before then through probably the first week of March.
No, it has nothing to do with needing a break from her. My concern is completely selfish - not being able to do the same things as we could without her. In my other travel thread I mentioned that a top contender is Egypt...I can't expect an almost 3 year old to be cool with visting tombs...
When you've gone on vacations in the past, what age were your kids when you felt comfortable leaving them overnight for days at a time (with someone of course)? How long were you gone for? What's the maximum number of days you would feel comfortable leaving them, knowing they could handle you...
Someday...but honestly I'm kind of beached out. We live south of Miami and have done the Caribbean a lot - not to say Tahiti isn't different, but I want more than just an island paradise this go-'round. My husband even suggested the Maldives, but to me that's pretty similar. But he's like you...
See that's the downfall of our anniversary...certain trips during that time of year would just plain suck (especially because we're from a warm climate almost year round!)
I'll keep that in mind for a summer vacation though once our daughter is a little older and can appreciate what she's...
I've been looking at the pictures that you've posted - absolutely amazing. Did you plan the trek yourself or do an organized tour through a company (iExplore, GAP, etc)? Any tips for navigating the area?
How about your home country of Israel?
Do you know what the weather is like in...
I live just south of Miami so that's not much of a vacation, LOL. And Utah...maybe someday but for now I'd like to keep our major trips international. Thanks though!
Has anyone ever done an overseas travel package? I'm looking at Egypt right now and have never done any prearranged itinerary so of course it makes me a bit nervous. They have ones that include 3-5 cities, guided tours by Egyptologists (I hope that's legit), some have a Nile cruise also...
