I heard someone say that the term 'Atheist' is redundant. People are generally labeled based on what they believe in, as opposed to what they don't believe in. For example, someone who believes in Christianity is called a Christian, not an "Islamist rejectionist".

And please understand that atheists are not all analytical people who can't see beyond the tangible world. I myself recognize the wonder...
After reading this thread, my suggestion would be to make a big bowl of popcorn and then invite Dallas and Sunstone over to duke it out, gladiator style, using only their verbal gymnastic skills. That might be pretty entertaining.
I know people with a strong belief in God, and almost no knowledge of scripture. I also know people who are avid atheists that are experts when it comes to one or more religious texts.

Ok I guess I'm kind of with you there - I don't often have "carnal" desires - carnal is a strong word, but I do have daydreams every once in a while....I don't feel guilty for that. I just feel HUMAN. :)
