Ah, I haven't heard that.
But I've driven the new ones - they have a retro look - and man, they are amazing.
Don't feel bad. This chip on my shoulder has gotten me places where I never thought I could go.
I mean, I do have tremendous daddy issues, and I can be bat-**** crazy sometimes, and fluctuate wildly between sweetness and shoe-throwing, and at times realize co-dependency has bitten me in the butt again and again......but I've come to terms with this woman I call "Mystic".
Part of the genetics I inherited was having a nice tush. So there's no reason to feel sorry for me.

haha that reminds me.
When my brother was in high school he took a girl to the movies. They were just about the only ones in the theater and they had their feet up on the seats in frount of them. My brother thought the movie was boring, so he absentmindedly reached over, took off the girl's flip-flop, and threw it at the screen.
She takes off her other flip-flop and yells THAT WAS MY SHOE!!!! and slaps the hell out of him with the flip-flop.

He never got a second date... until 7 years later.
They eventually got married but divorced after just a few months. Maybe he just couldn't keep his hands off her shoes.

3. I think everyone should strive to find a job they love and I tell my pupils regularly.
4. Of course, I also tell them that they are made from stardust.
5. I read lots of books. Mostly about science, but also history, religion and politics. I read fiction only occasionally and then usually by rather select authors.
6. I love Laphroaig scotch, particularly when its cask strength.
7. I love red meat and I don't see me ever giving it up.
8. I've practised martial arts for more than a decade and I worked as a bouncer for about five years while being a student.
9. I spend most of my holidays in Kurdistan (Northern Iraq) helping them rebuild their school system.
10. I haven't watched TV for about 8 years.
11. I've gone to school in Kyoto (Japan) to learn how to serve tea.
12. I have a hard time not being sarcastic when dealing with stupid people. (Notice: ignorance and stupidity are two different things. Ignorance can be fixed.)
13. I dress almost exclusively in black. It makes it easier to wash clothes and looks good in any occasion.
14. I only buy same brand black socks. This saves time otherwise spent pairing socks. If I have two socks, I have a pair.
15. I think science can solve almost all of our problems and holds the answers to almost all our questions.
