Pathetic and juvenile. Nice combo.
That would be a variation of anthropomorphic projection. We are not The Universe. We are tiny individualized autonomous parts of the universe.
Underneath all of the apparent differences, we are the same thing: consciousness.
Or just a bunch of intelligent apes trying to find a meaning.
By the way, do monkeys have "cosmic consciousness" too?
This is when I back away slowly, and excuse the driver and get myself off the bus. It's playing a cosmic game of Hide and Seek, pretending to be all those things, when it is none other than the Supreme Identity; The indestructible Sunyata.
Look at it this way: Consciousness is manifesting itself as The Universe, which includes you, I, monkeys, and the entire ball of wax. It's playing a cosmic game of Hide and Seek, pretending to be all those things, when it is none other than the Supreme Identity; The indestructible Sunyata.
Oh Lordy, Alice, I can't believe you're STILL trying to pretend that sunyata is compatible with your pseudo-Hindu new-age muddle.
And you've introduced yet another bit of meaningless jargon, "Supreme Identity". When it will it ever end?!
Do we really have this universe from nothing?
I have no idea, and neither does anyone else at the moment.
This is when I back away slowly, and excuse the driver and get myself off the bus.
So then. Do we really have this universe from nothing?
When you are in dark, how can you assert that all are in dark? Why do you impose your darkness on others.
I have no idea, and neither does anyone else at the moment. What I don't get is the need to fill the unknown with unsubstantiated religious beliefs and speculations. Why not just admit we haven't got a clue, that is the honest response.
My guess is that when the answers eventually arrive they will be very strange, and nothing to do with the religious beliefs that people currently hold.
Everything from Nothing is not a religious belief.
Believe what you like, but don't confuse belief with knowledge. We have no idea how/why our universe came into being.
An ignorant person cannot claim that all others are also ignorant.
How else could it possibly be?
Of course, we Hindus do not believe that real can come forth from unreal and that real ever becomes unreal. A barren mother's son is unreal at all times.
I am saying that Brahman is Pure Consciousness which is No-thing-ness.
