Abiogenesis or the Lord?

The truth is nirvana
Depends on the definition of truth that you use

Mine is : the quality or state of being true in accordance with fact or reality.

I'm guessing you use the alternative definition: belief that is accepted as true

Are you familiar with the concepts of deism and pantheism? Those are the positions I'm ultimately advocating for. Something larger than the Universe created the conditions that exist that we know of today. It's actually very similar to monotheism, except I would contend that the creation is also God too, because the creation creates.

I just know. Life will never be made in a lab
Balderdash! You don't know. I'll wager you know little about biochemistry, and are not in a position to make any assessment of what it might do'
Does life have some invisible essence imbued by God. or is it just chemistry?
Wny is chemistry insufficient, in your opinion?

Until they make life from non organic components in a lab I’ll roll with god

I got a feeling a lot of people would like to see a abiogenesis re-created in a lab just so they can say see God didn’t create life. Haha

I think the theists, including myself, is trying to tell you that God created abiogenesis, and that the two ideas are not inseparable.

And if someone's belief is that god doesn't exist then you feeling falls flat on its face

It already has, several times, Google it

I think you are mistaken here, Christine. Certain experiments have given us insights about how abiogenesis might happen. But new life forms have never been created in a lab. I googled it just to be sure. Found nothing.

I think it's possible (maybe even probable) that abiogenesis will happen in a lab one day. But (unless you got a link that says otherwise) I see no record of it having happened yet.

I asked for definitive evidence, not who can study up on it.

Anyway, see my previous post (#27).
It is common knowledge among many of us in these religious debates. Even creationists are aware of this hypothesis. It's one of these bits of science than any of us should understand. Are you saying you are contributing on a thread with abiogenesis in the title and you haven't looked it up to understand what it's about?

I think what scientist fear is that AbioGenesis can’t even have happened in reality billions of years ago so that would prove that God would’ve had to create life. That’s why they’re so intent on doing it in a lab. I mean it’s cool. I love science but sometimes The hand of God might be needed. Haha

I see synthetic life, life containing non standard dna if its self replicating and evolving organisms to be life. All these have been created in the laboratory. What has not been created is "life as we know it" atcg from scratch
