Depends on the definition of truth that you useThe truth is nirvana
OuiDepends on the definition of truth that you use
Mine is : the quality or state of being true in accordance with fact or reality.
I'm guessing you use the alternative definition: belief that is accepted as true
Are you familiar with the concepts of deism and pantheism? Those are the positions I'm ultimately advocating for. Something larger than the Universe created the conditions that exist that we know of today. It's actually very similar to monotheism, except I would contend that the creation is also God too, because the creation creates.Say what
Balderdash! You don't know. I'll wager you know little about biochemistry, and are not in a position to make any assessment of what it might do'I just know. Life will never be made in a lab
Smells like teem spirit. The truth is nirvana
Until they make life from non organic components in a lab I’ll roll with godBalderdash! You don't know. I'll wager you know little about biochemistry, and are not in a position to make any assessment of what it might do'
Does life have some invisible essence imbued by God. or is it just chemistry?
Wny is chemistry insufficient, in your opinion?

It's pronounced "way" in these parts but it's still spelled "oui"
I think the theists, including myself, is trying to tell you that God created abiogenesis, and that the two ideas are not inseparable.I got a feeling a lot of people would like to see a abiogenesis re-created in a lab just so they can say see God didn’t create life. Haha
Abiogenesis prolly never took place in reality that’s why god created lifeI think the theists, including myself, is trying to tell you that God created abiogenesis, and that the two ideas are not inseparable.
And if someone's belief is that god doesn't exist then you feeling falls flat on its faceI got a feeling a lot of people would like to see a abiogenesis re-created in a lab just so they can say see God didn’t create life. Haha
It already has, several times, Google it

Don’t be sad. God creating life isn’t sad. Haha. Well maybe it is to the scientific orientedI think the theists, including myself, is trying to tell you that God created abiogenesis, and that the two ideas are not inseparable.
It is common knowledge among many of us in these religious debates. Even creationists are aware of this hypothesis. It's one of these bits of science than any of us should understand. Are you saying you are contributing on a thread with abiogenesis in the title and you haven't looked it up to understand what it's about?I asked for definitive evidence, not who can study up on it.
Anyway, see my previous post (#27).
I see synthetic life, life containing non standard dna if its self replicating and evolving organisms to be life. All these have been created in the laboratory. What has not been created is "life as we know it" atcg from scratchI think you are mistaken here, Christine. Certain experiments have given us insights about how abiogenesis might happen. But new life forms have never been created in a lab. I googled it just to be sure. Found nothing.
I think it's possible (maybe even probable) that abiogenesis will happen in a lab one day. But (unless you got a link that says otherwise) I see now record of it having happened yet.
