I loved The Matrix but Keanu is the essence of Bill & Ted to me. Every second of The Matrix people sitting in the theatre were just waiting for Neo to exclaim "Excellent!" and play an invisible guitar. That's why the movie was so popular -- because he never did. They kept going back for both sequels, but still he never did it. "Ok, now he's going to do it!...No, NOW he's going to do it!"

Keanu has never failed to play Ted "Theodore" Logan in any movie he's ever been in. He may not have played air guitar in The Matrix, but he did say, "I know Kung-fu..." with that consistently bewildered look on his face. There is no movie where he isn't Ted. That's all he is and all he'll ever be. Because he's a horrible hack of an actor who owes his career to good looks and what I can only assume is the greatest talent agent that has ever lived.

He did say "I know kung fu" didn't he? Excellent.

What about Constantine?

I have to say I do actually like a lot of the movies Keanu is in. I just wish he wasn't in them.

I dont really mind Keanu that much, but that doesn't mean I think he has a wide range of emotions in his acting repertoire.

I think the part best suited to him was that alien movie where he played an alien. The alien character was cold and emotionless, so it was the perfect part for him to play.

Jerry Seinfeld. I can't stand him.

It's like Forrest Gump vs Shawshank Redemption, each film would have surely got best picture in separate years, but they had to be in the same one, so only one could win.

I also can't stand Forrest Gump. For the life of me, I can't understand why people like it so much. :sorry1:

I was just thinking about a scene from Forest Gump earlier today, about his amazing ping pong skills. I wish I had the talent for ping pong, but it just wasn't in my box of chocolates.

You never know what you're gonna get.

I guess I should just go ahead and say that Forrest Gump is basically my favorite movie.

Then you should be happy that I'll never do anything to cause it to be sold out at your local video store or make the line long for a screening at the theatre. :D

Edit: Tom Hanks runs hot and cold for me. I either really like his stuff or can't bear to watch it. Forrest Gump and most of his stuff from the 80s: ack. Apollo 13 and Saving Private Ryan: awesome.

Kristen Stewart, Kristen Stewart, Kristen Stewart, ad infinitum.

She is terrible and she has only one emotion. I imagine the only reason she gets in movies is for sleeping with directors.

Really? The "sleeping her way to the top" trope? On behalf of RF feminists, I feel compelled to slap you :slap:

Sometimes actors audition well then turn out to suck. Or they really, really look the part and their crappy acting gets overlooked.

But yeah, her acting kind of sucks.

I'm racking my brain to think of actors I "can't stand", but I'm coming up blank. I've never watched an Adam Sandler movie though. Maybe that's what I'm missing. I'm lukewarm on Jim Carey and Will Farrell, I suppose. But I think it's more that the types of movies those guys make just aren't my kind of movies.
