Adam was made the 3rd Day, Scripturally

Aman777

Bible Believer
How in the world can you get that idea? If God made Adam and Eve on the third day, then the heavens would have been featureless and they would have been lonely, because there would not have been any animals to keep them company. Man was created the sixth day, because he was made in the image of God and was the crowing creation of God. My research says:-
This is the only instance during the creation process when God blessed a unit of time. The term holy is applied in the Bible to something set aside for service to God.
2:4 The Hebrew word toledoth, translated here as records, is used 11 times in the book of Genesis to introduce new units of material (5:1; 6:9; 10:1; 11:10,27; 25:12,19; 36:1,9; 37:2). Here it introduces a detailed elaboration of some key aspects of the creation account that opens the book of Genesis (1:1-2:3). Special emphasis is placed on the events of day six. Verse 4 includes the first use of God's personal name, rendered in English as the Lord, the most commonly used noun in the OT.
HCSB Study Bible.

Dear Albert, Here is WHY I show that Adam was made on the THIRD Day.

Gen 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,

Adam's Earth was made the 3rd Day. Gen 1:9-10
This verse tells us that other HeavenS (plural) were also made the 3rd Day. Remember that the FIRST Heaven was made the 2nd Day. Gen 1:6-8

5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. 6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

The plants, herbs, and trees GREW on the 3rd Day. Gen 1:12

7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

In order to confirm that these verses are speaking of the 3rd Day, read the next verse:

8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom He had formed. 9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

See? On the 3rd Day, the SAME Day the Earth and the other HeavenS (our Cosmos and the 3rd Heaven) were made, but BEFORE the plants, herbs, and trees Grew, the LORD Jesus made Adam of the dust of the ground. Correct? God Bless you.

In Love,
Aman

You will be assimilated; it is His Will.
Dear Readers, The traditional religious teaching is that Adam was made the 6th Day, but that is not Scriptural, since he was formed from the dust of the ground on the THIRD Day. Gen 2:4-7 God Bless you all.

It is an interesting thought I think. :)

The Lost One
You can't make a person out of dust.

Dust are dead by-product waste. We may produce dust from skin and hair, as they age, wear or die off, but these dust can't making living things.

Sperm and egg are not dust. And we are made out of genes, cells and chromosomes, amino acids, etc, and none of these are dust.

And those who think that we are made of dust, seriously need to study up on biology and biochemistry, because they only sound ignorants, when they speak of something they don't understand.

Der Muffled, Then please explain HOW a New creature in Christ is created IF God has already rested from ALL of His work of creating as Gen 2:2-3 repeats. Since it takes the AGREEMENT of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to "create" man in God's Image Gen 1:26 AND John 14:16. If God has already rested (Heb-ceased) for all of His creating, NO man, can be saved. God Bless you.

Aman
I believe it would be nice if you tried to read and understand my replies for once rather than goosestepping to some drummed in theology that doesn't have a solid scriptural basis.

I said all "original" creation was finished.

I believe Adam and Eve are not part of original creation since their creation occurred thousands of years after original creation.

I believe a new creation in Jesus is spiritual rather than physical.

I beleive the new physical creation takes place at the rapture and that is not origianl creation.

Dear Norrin, God has but 7 Days or Ages in His Creation of the perfect Heaven. Each of the Days is some 4.5 Billion years in length, in man's time. Adam was made on the 3rd Day Gen 2:4-7 and we live today on the 6th Creative Day at Gen 1:27 since God is STILL creating Adam (mankind) in His Image, which is in Christ, Spiritually. God Bless you.

In Love,
Aman

I believe this is pure speculation since the Bible makes it clear that origial creation was finished after the sixth day and it says nothing about a continuation of that day only that God rested from his work of original creation.

Dear Readers, What Bible Student doesn't want you to know is that the JWs don't believe that Jesus is God. That is why they have changed John 1:1, just a tiny bit. Here is what the verse actually says:

Jhn 1:1In the beginning was the Word, (Jesus) and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Here is the JW version since they claim that Jehovah is the only God.

Jhn 1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a God.

Did you see the added "a"? They don't seem to know that YHWH and Jesus are the SAME God, since God is ONE. Someone should tell them. God Bless all of you.

In Love,
Aman

I don't believe JW's listen to reason amd can only repeat what was taught them.

Dear JM2C, Sure. Scripture shows that man was "formed" (Heb-as a Potter molds the clay) on the THIRD DAy. Gen 2:4-7 It was AFTER the first Earth was made Gen 1:9-10 but BEFORE the plants, which also GREW on the THIRD Day. Gen 1:12 Don't belieeve me? Then read Gen 2:8-9 which confirms that man was formed BEFORE the Trees.

That is God's Truth because it agrees with Science, History and Scripture. It also exposes the Biggest Satanic Lie ever told and that is the False Theory of Evolution which ASSUMES that Humans evolved from the common ancestor of Apes. The first Human, the common ancestor of ALL other Humans, is Adam, and he was made by the Hands of Jesus Billions of years BEFORE the common ancestor of apes, and BEFORE the first Stars of our Cosmos formed and put forth their light on the 4th Day. Gen 1:16 It is IMPOSSIBLE for Humans to have evolved from the common ancestor of Apes.

Humans cannot evolve from Apes because we were made long BEFORE our Earth was made, which was the HOME of the common ancestor of Apes. That's God's Truth, which destroys the Lies being forced upon our little children in the Public Schools EVERY day. God Bless you, and forgive us for our offense to those little children who believe in Jesus. Matt 18:6

In Love,
Aman

Just curious as to how you come to the conclusion that Adam was the first man?

Dear outhouse, Not so, since Gen 2:4-7 tells us man was "formed" from the dust of the ground on the 3rd Day and Gen 1:27 and Gen 5:1-2 tell us man was "created in God's Image" on the 6th Day, which was when Adam was born Again Spiritually, in Christ. ONLY God (Elohim) creates and it takes the AGREEMENT of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to create a New creature in Christ. Gen 1:26 and John 14:16

What you have exposed is your confusion over the story of the Creation. See if this helps you? Remember that Genesis Chapter One is the entire HISTORY of the creation of the 3rd Heaven. The first chapter of the Bible is an OUTLINE of ALL of the rest of the Bible and ALL of the rest of the Bible refers BACK to Genesis One.

That is because Genesis one tells us of the events of the present 6th Day, which are FUTURE to our time. We live today at Gen 1:27 since God is STILL creating mankind in His Image which is in Christ. God will NOT rest until His perfect Heaven is filled and then Jesus will return to Earth and EVERY creature will be changed into Vegetarians as the PROPHECY of Gen 1:30 is finally fulfilled. Isaiah 11 tells us all about it. It's when Lions will eat straw like the Ox. God Bless you.

In Love,
Aman

Jesus Christ! Where did you get this kind of theology?

Better rendered as " from the dispersed of mankind..." Not so with "the dust of the ground".

I believe I lack translation experience on this one so please tell me what the reasoning is for giving a different rendering. I believe Adam was cloned from a blood clot (Qu'ran reference) found in a bone in the ground representing a race that had died out that God wished to resurrect. One does not need to create from people who already exist because they are capable of reproducing.

Are you being serious?

For starters, Adam wasn't "created", he was "chosen".

Note this scripture:
"For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again."

We read it as "In the beginning God created...", giving the idea that there wasn't anything prior to that creation.

The 7 day creation is entirely talking about the human body.
