There is some running from the truth here, but it's not coming from my posts. I might suggest to you the same thing Jesus suggested to the Jews who were throwing rocks at the prostitute.

If unbelievers need to know "the way to heaven," and ask me for help, I help them. But I really don't see what any of this has to do with your seriously distorted view of Genesis.

So does the Universe or anything with in it have eternal nature, since eternal has no beginning nor end, having always been and will always be, then Genesis 1.1 and Matt 24.35 should answer that. Luke 16.17 if you are not sure.

Dear 029b10, Welcome to the board. God only "creates" eternally. In Genesis chapter one, which is the History of the entire Creation, God "creates" only 3 times. He creates the heaven (air) and the earth (ground) and water comes from the gases in the air. Gen 1:1-2 God creates "every living creature that moveth" from the water on Day 5. Gen 1:21 God creates mankind in His Image or In Christ on the 6th Day. Gen 1:27 and Gen 5:1-2

Notice that everything God creates is destined for Eternal life in the 3rd Heaven, since Heaven contains air, dust, water, and Humans, who have dominion over every other living creature. Notice also that when Adam was made from the dust of the ground, he was NOT an Eternal Creation but instead was a living soul, 1Co 15:46 since mankind has a Free Choice to be created Eternally or NOT.

It's what I have read and studied for more than 30 years. When you read Gen 1:28-31 which tells us that mankind has dominion or rule over EVERY living creature, it doesn't make sense. This is because Polar Bears, Viruses, Sharks, Mosquitos and many other living creatures are NOT ruled by mankind today. When you get to Gen 1:30, it is clearly Prophecy since there had NEVER been a time in man's History, when EVERY living creature was a Vegetarian, "and it was so". Gen 1:30

Isaiah chapter 11 details what will happen when Jesus returns to this Earth at the end of time, when the Lion will lay down by the Lamb, since all living creatures will then be Vegetarians, thus fulfilling the Prophecy of Gen 1:30. God Bless you.

Dear Muffled, Can you tell us of a time in the past when EVERY living creature was a Vegetarian? Before you can jump to the 7th Day, which has no morning and no evening, you must show that the PROPHECY of Gen 1:28-31 has ALREADY happened in the past. Failure to do this will show that it is a FUTURE event which will not happen until Jesus returns to this Earth at the end of time, as Isaiah 11:7 tells us.

Now, it's your time to tell us what Day it is. Hint: It's the last Day and the Day of Salvation and Judgment, BEFORE God is finished with ALL of His work of creating as Gen 2:2-3 REPEATS. Since God continues to create people in Christ Today, the Day when He ceases or rests from ALL of His work is FUTURE. God Bless you.

I don't beleive there is any prophesy in those verses.

I believe it does not matter that God is not finished with creating on a minor basis because the verse defintely said He was finished with original creation.

I don't beleive God ever stops creating and I believe when God finished his work on the 6th day and rested on the seventh that the original creation was finished.

Again, it didn't happen. You're using Isa. to prove Genesis. It doesn't work that way. You seem to know less and less all the time. Pity.

I beleive not only that but I beleive it is a big jump from animals not eating meat to people not eating meat when the text says nothing about it. Also there is no evidence that the Genesis verse about eating produce precludes eating meat. And there is no evidence of prophecy. I believe that is a totally imagined concept lacking evidence.
