Gender dysphoria is a mental illness. We clear? If a person can't handle living life without body mutilation, including the use of cross sex hormones or else they will hit self delete, they are poster children for mental illness. That's what a mental illness is. That's what a disorder is. It's being unable to live in society with your mental health condition, without treatment.
Neverminding that not all transgender people have gender dysphoria and many transgender people's dysphoria is resolved by treatment (meaning they're no longer suffering from a disorder), mental illness is also much more prevalent in gay and lesbian communities (and in fact most minorities). That doesn't mean being gay or lesbian is a mental illness but that they live in an environment that impacts mental health.
Saying that depression, anxiety, gender dysphoria is a mental illness diagnosis is fine. Saying 'transgender is a mental illness/are deluded' etc is not.

If you're a biological male and you're using a women's washroom, you should be arrested. Furthermore, you keep giving me reason for suspicion regarding your sex, so I'm just going to outright ask it. Do you have a vagina? Were your born with ovaries? Do you have a womb? Answer all three.
I'm tempted to withhold it just because it irritates you and makes you want to jump to erroneous conclusions because of your ingrained stereotypes about womanhood and the experience of being a woman. But I've already told you twice in this thread that I'm a ciswoman. I'm just a ciswoman that could also grow a luxurious beard if I wanted to.

And while it's fun to scare closed minded dolts in the bathroom, I'd still rather pee in peace, like transwomen there with me.

That's very rude to ask, by the way. This is a message board and it's none of your business what someone's privates are like. You don't have a right to know that stuff. Wtf.

These people are usually fetishists and do not respresent trans women. A trans women obviously isn't going to be a huge fan of her natal genitals. The ones I've seen who are really into their penises are usually either sex workers or perverts. They gross everyone out, even trans people. And anyone can reject anyone for any reason, sure.
I've met an assortment of people who claim to be trans and I agree with you about the fetish element. Two of those people are fetishists, aroused by either having grown mini breasts or having breast implants. One of them is rather obsessed with their "shenis" as well.

Okay, so you're an adult human female who suffers some sort of genetic or other anomaly.

Yes, I've known those sorts, too. They're creepy and make everyone uncomfortable. I don't want to be thrown in with those people in any way.

I'm a ciswoman with PCOS, which exists in 1 in 5 women, with 1 in 10 having hirsutism. It's just often covered up because people are ashamed of beauty standards that do not reflect the reality of the diversity of women, much like TERF's flattening the experience of what it means to be an 'adult human female.'

PCOS is discussed at length in the circles I travel, actually.

I never made it my business to disallow mentally ill adults from receiving genital mutilation. However, I also do not agree that I should be forced to use anyone's preferred pronouns, nor validate their identity by calling them men if they are women or women if they are men. We clear?
You can call people what you want because that's your business, not mine.

I asked the question. She answered it. She didn't have to.
That I answered doesn't mean it wasn't rude to ask. (I answered because I'd already done so before you asked.) Especially with the subtext that you were gonna assume I was some sex predator looking to do some fiendish thing in a restroom if I didn't, which is pretty ****ty.

Probably not about how it challenges sex and gender stereotypes.

Good thing there has never been a cis male who was obsessed with his penis and they have never ever ever pulled them out at an inappropriate time or place.

I disagree. A woman can't have a fully functioning penis, including with reproductive ability. Stop that!
Sure they can. Both because woman is not just in reference to sex and gender is not connected to sex, but because not all intersex women with male genitalia are sterile. I will not stop pointing out that gender =/= sex. :yum:

No, they can't. Seriously stop calling men women and women men.
