It's right in the OP- the main motivation is for various restroom setups to include options for individuals that face discrimination for using either male-only or female-only restrooms.
Yeah, that!

I have a brilliant idea to illuminate the night skies and melt away the division amongst us!
We shall have bathrooms for men!
We shall have bathrooms for women!
And we shall also have bathrooms for the...third group!
No need of mixing them up, when you could just add third one. Seems to work in certain Thai schools. See?? Bow before the might of my intellect!!
The thing I said I was in favor of in my posts, was having gender-neutral options in addition to regular bathrooms. But we add a third bathroom, not make them all gender-less, by arguing with those who prefer to do their business with everyone else of various sex's.
"we need to drop all gender based things from existence"
That only applies to discrimination, and gender based restrooms are not discrimination.
The whole argument fails, the only plausible reason would be to save companies money, and that is not even a good enough reason.
Plus, to want gender-less restrooms, even with the choice of male/female only, has no real benefits and actually cost the business money.
As I said, the whole argument fails by its own weight.
Trust me, I've seen women's restrooms that were pretty nasty, myself. I once walked into a restroom and walked right out again when I saw used feminine products left all over the stall. But, from my experience, men's were yucky more often.I've seen disgusting women's rooms before. But besides toilets being clogged with urine, feces and toilet paper, you get the added bonus of blood with tampons as the cherry on top.

The title says ALL bathrooms.
BTW, what is the real need to have gender neutral bathrooms as well, specially when people are claiming that having ALL gender-neutral only, will save on space and money.
Yeah but I think the easier way is to just have three options, or in small places to just have a few individual unisex rooms. The title says ALL bathrooms.
The need to have gender neutral rooms is that there are a lot of people that face discrimination if they use either the men's room or the women's room.BTW, what is the real need to have gender neutral bathrooms as well, specially when people are claiming that having ALL gender-neutral only, will save on space and money.
The whole argument fails to support reasons why we need all three types, the first being it cost money and has no real benefits.
"I prefer to go with both males and females presence" is not a good reason.
Its ridiculous.
The need to have gender neutral rooms is that there are a lot of people that face discrimination if they use either the men's room or the women's room.
Because men are prone to trashy sexist assault. That's why. Why???
There is a difference between having a different opinion and derailing a thread with said opinion. Are we not allowed to have a different opinion that the OP?
The root of the problem transgender individuals face is bigotry harbored by individuals. Do you believe turning all bathrooms into gender-neutral ones would somehow remove this bigotry?Did you read any of the articles on why gender-neutral bathrooms are safer for transgender individuals?
