Incidentally, both Willi and Johnny play Martin guitars...
Willie REALLY needs a new one. Someone should tell him the one he's using has holes in it, and that it sounds like it came from K-Mart.

Nah, you gatta keep a guitar like that one. Guitars are supposed to have holes...

Anyway, as it is, that old beat-up guitar is likely to be priceless, and sound like a million bucks (or several).

I've heard it lots of times, and it sounds like crap. He should donate it to the Smithsonian and get a new one. Though to be honest, Willie has pretty much been "phoning in" his performances for several years, now. Maybe he just doesn't care what it sounds like, anymore. Or maybe he's going deaf - that happens a lot to musicians as they get older.

No, but your government better not either harbor the thugs that kill us as in Afghanistan, or they better not break a cease fire agreement like Iraq did (especially when there is a hundred reasons to invade a country, I wouldnt reccomend breaking a cease fire agreement).

My country? :sarcastic

What are you talking about? what do you know about my country?

Ohh ya, i forgot that you are the type of people who think any who disagree with them live in one area and you should kill them all because they are against you as Bush said once, if you are not with me so you are against me.

You don't have any evidence to support that Iraq can produce a thousand fanatics like Zarqawi. That's irrational pessimism. You have scores of baseless statements that you have utterly failed to defend on this thread like:

I can bring you tons of them.

- Oil:
There were only two credible reasons for invading Iraq: control over oil and preservation of the dollar as the world's reserve currency.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0,3604,1270414,00.html

our leaders are not being candid with us. Oil has been a major US concern about Iraq in internal and unpublicized documents, since the start of this Administration, and indeed earlier. As Michael Renner has written in Foreign Policy in Focus, February 14, 2003, "Washington's War on Iraq is the Lynchpin to Controlling Persian Gulf Oil."
But the need to dominate oil from Iraq is also deeply intertwined with the defense of the dollar.
http://www.whywehatebush.com/news/04_07_bushOil.html

There were three reasons why the Bush administration went to war: oil, Israel, and military transformation.

U.S. Marines execute an Iraqi to the cheers of fellow marines
CNN Presents: Fit To Kill

Aired October 26, 2003 - 20:00 ET

CROWLEY: Wounded, another Iraqi writhes on the ground next to his gun. The Marines kill him -- then cheer.

RIDDLE: Like, man, you guys are dead now, you know. But it was a good feeling.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Fire!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yeah!

CROWLEY: When the battle is over and you are still standing, the adrenalin rush is huge.

RIDDLE: I mean, afterwards you're like, hell, yeah, that was awesome. Let's do it again.

CROWLEY: Inexplicable to some, but not to generations of veterans.

isnt it your turn truth i asked what your idea of freedom was you said you would answer after A.E

Freedom is a big word and only people who respect the right of other human beings in existance and living in peace know it's true meaning.

I'm listening to this great song while typing my posts and i would love to share it with you and with some people who believe that only guns can solve our problems.

Artist: Black Eyed Peas LyricsSong: Where Is The Love

What's wrong with the world mama?
People living like aint got no mamas
I think the whole worlds addicted to the drama
Only attracted to the things that bring you trauma
Overseas yeah we tryin to stop terrorism
But we still got terrorists here livin
In the USA the big CIA the Bloodz and the Crips and the KKK
But if you only have love for your own race
Then you only leave space to discriminate
And to discriminate only generates hate
And if you hatin you're bound to get irate
Yeah madness is what you demonstrate
And that's exactly how anger works and operates
You gotta have love just to set it straight
Take control of your mind and meditate
Let your soul gravitate to the love y'all

People killing people dying
Children hurtin you hear them crying
Can you practice what you preach
Would you turn the other cheek?
Father Father Father help us
Send some guidance from above
Cause people got me got me questioning
Where is the love?

It just ain't the same all ways have changed
New days are strange is the world the insane?
If love and peace so strong
Why are there pieces of love that don't belong
Nations dropping bombs
Chemical gases filling lungs of little ones
With ongoing suffering
As the youth die young
So ask yourself is the loving really strong?
So I can ask myself really what is going wrong
With this world that we living in
People keep on giving in
Makin wrong decisions
Only visions of them livin and
Not respecting each other
Deny thy brother
The wars' going on but the reasons' undercover
The truth is kept secret
Swept under the rug
If you never know truth
Then you never know love
Where's the love y'all?(I don't know)
Where's the truth y'all?(I don't know)
Where's the love y'all?

People killing people dying
Children hurtin you hear them crying
Can practice what you preach
Would you turn the other cheek?
Father father father help us
Send some guidance from above
Cause people got me got me questioning
Where is the love?

I feel the weight of the world on my shoulder
As I'm getting older y'all people get colder
Most of us only care about money makin
Selfishness got us followin the wrong direction
Wrong information always shown by the media
Negative images is the main criteria
Infecting their young minds faster than bacteria
Kids wanna act like what the see in the cinema
Whatever happened to the values of humanity
Whatever happened to the fairness and equality
Instead of spreading love, we're spreading anomosity
Lack of understanding, leading us away from unity
That's the reason why sometimes I'm feeling under
That's the reason why sometimes I'm feeling down
It's no wonder why sometimes I'm feeling under
I gotta keep my faith alive, until love is found

People killing people dying
Children hurtin you hear them crying
Can you practice what you preach
Would you turn the other cheek?
Father Father Father help us
Send some guidance from above
Cause people got me got me questioning
Where is the love?

Peace .. :)

Quoting propaganda like whywehatebush.com is one thing, but you know you're behind enemy lines when they start trashin' Willi's guitar.

Anything bad to say about my D-18, the same guitar that Elvis played?

No problem at all here with my Marines sticking a boot in the *** of the terrorists and their friends, supporters, and governments that took my friends in New York away from me.

No spineless European or otherwise is going to get in our way.

No sleep lost here due to propgandized anti-American stories against our military. Our boys are supposed to cheer when they kill the enemy. Good for them. One more American coming home.

That's not what I said. If you're an enemy of our country, so be it.

If you want me to believe that freedom comes cheap and that my country should not fight to preserve itself, you are hoping in vain.

Truth,
You are going to find little sympathy from me for any of your anti-American or anti-war propaganda. War is an unfortunate fact of life. I wish that we were not baselessly attacked by independent Muslim fanatics, and I wish that we had not gone to war with Iraq. I regret seeing Powell have to degrade himself to the point of trying to convince the UN that Saddam had nuclear weapons and was transporting them using trucks to avoid detection. - That seemed stupid to me.

However, I am firmly convinced that what we accomplished in Iraq is just and needed for the security of the American people - both now and in the future. If you disagree I could care less. We have collateral damage, and that is unfortunately expected in a war. Better them than us.

It's better to be a friend of America than an enemy. We will attempt to bring freedom and democracy to the Iraqi people and to everywhere else in the world that we have power. If you think that is a bad thing, I could care less.

LOL, who needs a sympathy from you. I get all my strength from God but not from feeble human beings who can't help themselves.

Also, you missed the point, that i didn't say a word but to post facts from trustworthy american resources on the internet and you thought that i'm doing anti bla bla propagand !!! :ignore:

Anyway, i have no comment on what you said because it's clear now to me and i got to know what i wanted to know.

Finally, i just remembered this verse from Quran which inspired me not to go on in this thread.

And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!" (Quran 25:63)

So, Peace .. :)

I've played Martins a number of times - don't own one, though. The ones I played were good guitars. But I've played other good guitars as well.

Elvis couldn't play guitar very well, anyway, and was faking it most of the time on stage. So he musta been using one of them "show guitars" with rubber bands strings that don't make any noise. *wink* Is that what you have?

Yeah, the D-18 is one of my favorite guitars - my avatar is my D-18. I also have a D-15 that is wonderful.

By "sympathy" I meant "sympathetic ear." Just in case you missed it. I assume that you are trying to convince me of something and I am unwilling to be convinced - hense I am unsympathetic to your pessimistic, anti-American dribble.

You are going to have a hard time convincing anyone that www.whywehatebush.com is not propaganda. Furthermore, you cannot use any of your sources to make the conclusions that you come to on this thread: that all American soldiers kill indisriminately, that democracy in Iraq is pointless, and that Iraq will be a breeding ground for thousands of brutal Zarqawi's. Your evidence must match your conclusions, and you have utterly failed to demonstrate the validity any of your baseless claims with reliable sources or otherwise.
