Almost Everything You Think You Know Is A Lie

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
Gosh, you forgot to mention the one about how the Moon actually IS made of green cheese. The only reason we aren't mining the stuff is because of a vast conspiracy headed by the world's cheese manufactures who don't want the competition. That's the REAL story! I think you're just trying to distract us from THAT reality by mentioning all of these other ridiculous theories.
Well, as it says in the Bible, "Blessed are the Cheesemakers" I wouldn't want to mess with them.

I've used a telescope with a filter to watch Venus transit the sun. I've also seen the phases of Venus, which are further evidence of Venus orbiting the sun.

On the other hand, Mars *never* transits the sun. And for all the planets, I can look up predictions of where they will be years ahead of time and then verify the predictions when the time comes.

For example, we knew a solar eclipse was going to happen in the USA last year far before the actual event. And we had the time of the eclipse predicted down to the minute along the whole path.

That alone says something about our understanding of orbital mechanics.
Interesting side note, I took my daughter out at 3am the other night looking for Perseids. It was a bit of a bust. However, using her little 11 power binoculars, we could clearly see the disc of Mars, and how it's shadowed like a half Moon. Was quite interesting.

I would like to see such fossils.

The Smithsonian locked away most of what was found in America in the 1800s. Those were crazy times. The natives had tales of red headed giants in Nevada and South America. Heck, even the Mayans had a God called Quetzalcoatl which there are various sources for being a giant bird from the late crectacious period to a small plumed serpant.

When you make such statements, especially such crazy sounding statements, you put the burden of proof upon yourself. What evidence from a reliable source supports this claim? Odds are that you are being extremely inconsistent again.

I am just curious. Has anyone read a book
called..."The Feed". Then you know what I am talking about.

Because the native Americans and my ancestors all had tales of giants .
Yes, and? How does "tales of giants" become "The Smithsonian locked away actual fossils"?

There's a podcast I listen to called "astonishing legends, who did an episode recently on giants. Those guys are really credulous "I want to believe" types, but they ultimately concluded that these stories always seem to go back to cases of miscommunication, misreporting, willful misrepresentation, conflation and outright hoax. Wait a moment, I'll find you a link. They're quite long podcasts, but extremely thorough...

Ep 96: The Tall Ones Part 1

Ep 98: The Tall Ones Part 2

Ep 99: The Tall Ones Part 3

If you're sincerely interested in this stuff, I recommend them highly.

As a child, I remember being able to see a large, clearly visible crescent phase Venus before sunrise at the bus stop before school. Some of the other kids were arguing that it was the moon, but I pointed out the gibbous moon overhead towards the west. I've had a bit of a passion for observing the sky since then.

The fact that both Mercury and Venus both cross the face of the sun and goes behind the sun, while the Moon only crosses the sun, and never goes behind it, and the outer planets go behind the sun but never cross the sun, is compelling evidence for the system as we understand it now.

Does the average person observe and contemplate such things, or do they just take the words of scientists on blind faith?

Because the Smithsonian discovered them in graves. A lot of the discoveries and documents in the 1800s were destroyed. It was a time of great change. Especially after the Federal reserve took over.

where is your evidence for this claim?
A lot of the discoveries and documents in the 1800s were destroyed.
If they were destroyed, how do you know about them?
It was a time of great change. Especially after the Federal reserve took over.
What does the federal reserve have to do with the Smithsonian? Why would the federal reserve want to suppress scientific knowledge of particular fossils? And, again, how would you know?

You keep making claims without actually providing any support for them. If you could start providing the evidence for your claims, please?

Here's a great example of how the establishment wants to drop the veil on us.

I'm sorry, but I make a habit of not clicking uncommentated youtube clips. Could you provide a brief synopsis, please? Sort of like I did in post #269.

So let's say this is legitimate footage. Where are the stars?

Apparently, the great rocket scientists conspirators from the NASA, forgot that stars are visible from the moon, too. :)

Ciao

The Federal Reserve has to do with everything. You ask why they would want to suppress anything? You won't watch the documentary. That's a problem. I bet I couldn't pay you to watch it. That's an example of their power.

You keep making claims without actually providing any support for them. If you could start providing the evidence for your claims, please?

What claims specifically do you require evidence for? I posted some videos and you already said you won't watch them.

You are being irrational and inconsistent again. Believing something just because you want to and not based upon any reliable evidence guaranteed that you will be wrong most of the time.

Watch this. To disbelief something because of lack of evidence is contrary to science at least theoretic phsyics.

This video is more reliable.

No, YouTube videos made by purveyors of woo are extremely unreliable. You as much as admit that you are wrong by referring to such.
