Matthew 28:16-20 (NIV)
16Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
John 1:40-42 (NIV)
40Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. 41The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, "We have found the Messiah" (that is, the Christ). 42And he brought him to Jesus.
Paul wasn't the only one. I could give you example after example.
Now, I am going to prove to you that the above reading was an interpolation. That kind of baptism in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
was introduced by Paul who used to rebaptize the Nazarenes whenever he succeeded to convert one into Christianity. Neither Jesus nor his Apostles never practised it.
The baptism, the Nazarenes disciples of Jesus practised, was the baptism of John. If you read Acts 19:1-8 you will see that at Paul's question to the disciples of the
Nazarenes if they had been baptized with the Spirit and in the name of Jesus, they answered and said that they had never even heard of it. Then, Paul would baptize
them with his peculiar form of baptism.
