Another irrefutable proof that God created all things using mathematical induction. And a proof that The Bible is the word of God.

yeah well tell how birds fly, ok? they got wings that flap, hmm...Meantime, aside from ducks, I've been reading about animism and the philosophers' way of trying to figure out how religion started ... kind of confusing -- lots of theories -- nothing substantial insofar as anything better than reality and what the Bible says. Hey! have a good one. categories of philosophy, and we'll see as time moves on. Please ask @Colt about being transferred, transported, flown to heaven if you want to know more. Thanks.
OK, never mind about the birds -- too boring, it's just nice to see them. Ask other believers like Colt please. :)
The flight of birds is explained by aerodynamics. That was a very strange example.

I don't know what you mean.
It's about the politics and religion of early first century Palestine. YHWH was distinct from Rome's pantheon and there were factions within Palestine which both supported (or at least accomodated) Rome as well as those who opposed it. Pauline Christianity presents the view of the victors where the tension between these factions is for the most part left out of the story. A central figure in this was James the Just, who was described as James the less in the gospel of Mark. It was because of him that Paul was put to the test and ended up appealing to Caesar rather than having to accept a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity. Paul was a supporter of Rome but James was a popular figure and populism and nationalism are closely related.

Not so.
The God of the Bible is not ambiguous at all.
The term "God" is ambiguous because it is a translation of several Hebrew words (אל, אלה, אלהים) which have different meanings, and these meanings can vary depending on the context, for example Numbers 23:19 and Genesis 7:1.

Seems to be a bit of a mess, though. Petty, spiteful, vindictive, genocidal, jealous, some of the time, and all love and justice at other times.
Justice involves rewarding evil with evil. Those on the receiving end often don't think very highly of those who delivered it.

Is it?

Even if it is, proportionality is important and it cannot justify collective punishment, genocide, condoning slavery,... I could go on.

Is this a serious question? How could you possibly justify genocide or slavery?
Because some crimes are worth of death and the number of people involved doesn't change that.
Slavery can be justified as a remedy for the settlement of a debt when no other remedy exists.

I disagree. That's vengeance, not justice. And under what circumstances can every single person in a group including infants, children and even animals can be all be guilty of such a crime, even if it were justified?

1 Samuel 15:3

Shockingly abhorrent. Having people in the 21st century trying to justify slavery on the basis of an old book of myths is a great argument against religion and a tangible example of how it can cause endless harm.
