*chuckles* Fortunately, it was never like that. I don't have big time tech experience, just high school/college. The only folks with that kind of pull were the teachers.

I mean why would you not want to become a moviestar, all the perks that come with it, it is my dream and i am well on my way to pursing it.better to be a movie star instead of just working at kfc or living your life through a celebrity, instead of actually becoming one, money comes and go's i think it would be better to leave something behind instead of being a nobody.

I would hate to have no privacy, to have reporters digging through my trash, going out of their way to try to take a picture of me scratching my nose, bagging me about my weight, suggesting my buying a porno is being a poor role model for the youth, that were a GF to cheat on me to suddenly rush to suggest I was beating her or cheating on her or unable to satisfy her etc, that when I am at a hospital after finding out a loved one has been hurt for film crews to show up to take pictures of my fear and grief, or how at my funeral vultures will gather over my loved ones to get their story, to try to dig up kernels they can sell to the highest bidder while some little snot bag online makes snide comments about how the world was better off without me and my wife is probably glad she can get gang-banged by some footy team without having to worry about divorce, since she was only looking for money and fame to begin with.
I wouldn't mind being obscenely wealthy, but you can keep the fame. I am content to wait in line at the restaurant in order to ensure that there are no lines of people waiting to intrude on my private life.

I, get were you are coming from but I have been a HUGE movie fan my whole life and just going to the theater and watching a new movie is like a vacation for me. I have been inspired by movies my whole life, no joke, they have helped get me through some bad times in my life, NOW I want to be the guy up there on the big screen, I want people to come and watch me in movie's, I want to be the next leo maina i want people to know me and i want to be the next great movie star instead of just a regular moviegoer. I want to contribute to the film industry, this is something i have wanted for a long time to be an actor and maybe one day get an OSCAR, acting is something i love to do and i am ready for the next step, to play as all kinds of diffrent characters in film, to be a innovator in the film industry and to inspire other people, this is something i have to do i was born to act in movies and all the fame you get with it does not bother me, I want fame I want to be recognized for my work it is just all so awesome to me. being an actor and yes a possible movie star is truly the greatest job in the world i think, movies are portal's into different world's for me and i am ready to make that journey, the way i see it is you only live once in this world as far as i know and if you have a dream you might as well at least try to purse your dreams before you settle down, acting in movies is my dream and i am trying to make it happen, who know's i might actually make it and achieve my dream. I will leave you has a wise film critic once said, SEE YOU AT THE MOVIE'S.

when people tell me i can never become an actor i alway's say somebody has to become the next great movie star so why not me. The brad pitt's and johnny depp's will not last forever someone has to take over so why not me.[i am going in for my first movie audition, so if i end up making it big i guess i will not be coming on here that much anymore, if at all].
I always (and still do) want to be famous, but a movie star is probably not the TOP thing I had in mind, but it'll do
It's kind of sad to consider that when you're a teenager - all of your favorite actors and singers will be renewed by something more out of your style. But I believe the metal will live on! :jam:

Sir Patrick Stewart is a better example of that argument, since he didn't get into TV/Film until he was in his late 40s.
You do realize that there's about a million other kids trotting off to Hollywood with that exact same dream, right?
BTW, if you've never seen it, go watch Ed Wood. I know it's about a director, not an actor, but it will still have a lot of guidance and wisdom for anyone wishing to pursue their dreams.
As a game designer/developer, it's been EXTREMELY great to have that movie to help bring me down to earth to make my dreams a reality IN reality, rather than in my dreams. ... if that made sense.
