You said that? That's the most profound thing I ever heard. Surely you must be a prophet!
In the long run CG, one has to decide if they should mock God, or submit to God.

Democracy in the U.S.? It's kind of a joke. One side claims the other side stole the election, and the other side says those others tried to steal the election. There is much on the Destiny of America.
This is one passage from Abdul'baha.
"This revered American nation presents evidences of greatness and worth. It is my hope that this just government will stand for peace so that warfare may be abolished throughout the world and the standards of national unity and reconciliation be upraised. This is the greatest attainment of the world of humanity. This American nation is equipped and empowered to accomplish that which will adorn the pages of history. to become the envy of the world and be blest in the east and the west for the triumph of its democracy. I pray that this may come to pass and I ask the blessing of God in behalf of you all..."
One needs to know what has been offered in the Writings, before they can know what has been offered about the future, a future we are now living in.

Because it takes a lot to believe everything about the Baha'i Faith is true. The other thing is that religions always have a large percentage of people that do virtually nothing. They are nothing but nominal believers. Then there is always the problem of those that get into positions of power and leadership. Which religion hasn't had several corrupt leaders? Will the Baha'i Faith be different? It's already had to kick out several people that tried to take control. But those in power? How perfect are they? They're not. I don't think even Baha'is would expect their leaders to be perfect. Then Baha'is have a problem with inactive Baha'is. Some of these are different then the nominal Baha'is. They are gone. Nowhere to be found. They signed a declaration card but never got involved. So why has humanity, as a whole, made that choice?

Considering what some religions have done and said, they deserve to be mocked. Even Christianity. Do you believe in what the Church believed and taught for hundreds of years? To repeat. Satan and demons are real. Jesus is God. People are born with original sin. The Pope is infallible. And on and on. People were killed for having a different interpretation of the Bible. The common people were not allowed to read the Bible. People were tortured for not converting. That religion should be more than mocked. In the long run CG, one has to decide if they should mock God, or submit to God.

I haven't seen a response to my post yet. If you have time, can you comment on this? When I investigated the details, That is how exactly the Prophecies work, from Jesus, Muhammad, the Bab and Baha'u'llah and previous Manifestation.
They are not vague if one really reads their Books. (Not just pulling a prophecy from the text). I explained in the hypothetical examples, what I mean. It means, the year, locations, names, durations are all in the scriptures decoded. But I cannot do the work for others to show that, specifically if I feel most people are just too quick to reject. All I can do, is to say, it worked for me.
I've discussed some of those prophecies with Baha'is and all of them had issues. Believable to Baha'is? Of course. But too vague and too manipulated to convince some of us. Like Daniel's prophecies about the 1290 and 1335 days.
In addition, Baha'is have applied the day-year principle to the two prophecies at the end of the last chapter of Daniel concerning the 1,290 days (Dan 12:11) and the 1,335 days (Dan 12:12).[9] The 1,290 days is understood as a reference to the 1,290 years from the open declaration of Muhammad to the open declaration of Bahá’u’lláh. The 1,335 days is understood to be a reference to the firm establishment of Islam in 628 AD to the firm establishment of the Baha'i Faith (the election of its Universal House of Justice) in 1963 AD.My problem with these is that they ignore the part in the verse where is says...
Daniel 12:11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days. What does the declaration of Muhammad and the establishment of Islam have to do with the daily sacrifice and the setting up of the abomination? Baha'is ignore it or explain it away. It works for them, but to me, it's manipulating the verse to make it mean what Baha'is want it to mean. Right there is enough to make me question the whole of the Baha'i Faith. Sorry, you may be doing many great things. Maybe making the world better, but, to me, this is not fulfilling a prophecy. It is making up a starting time and coming up with a fabricated "fulfillment".
Yet today, Catholics aren't all that bad. What happened? They are trying to fix themselves. Maybe because people finally got tired of the $%&#.
Democracy in the U.S.? It's kind of a joke. One side claims the other side stole the election, and the other side says those others tried to steal the election.
I said:No it isn't. It's the same old same old.
Imo they've even got that wrong. That's my understanding of the real Baha'i message. That, I think, is the full prophecy. The Baha'i Faith will be rejected. And not until people blow themselves up, and almost destroy the whole planet, will they finally turn to the Baha'i Faith.
Nowhere to be found. They signed a declaration card but never got involved.
So, before we even get to the Baha'i plan for peace and take it seriously, we have to first take Baha'u'llah and the Baha'is seriously. Is he the return of all the promised ones of all religions? Did he fulfill all prophecies of all the religions? And on and on. Lots of reasons to question and doubt. So, instead, we wait and see. And in the meantime, the world is getting worse. So, he's got that going for him. But I really think the full prophecy is that the world will go through the most horrible things imaginable before the people of the world let the Baha' plan get put into action.
Please note that I did not SAY we have one now. What I was citing was about the FUTURE.Never.
And we don't have one now.
And it is not something to expect any time soon.
The prophecy is in the process of fulfillment if the old world order is being rolled up but it will not be fully fulfilled until a new world order rises in its stead. No it isn't. It is predicting a future event that has yet to occur.
We haven't. But we have had plenty of groups claiming that that is their goal. Which is why I said, But everything that you're citing looks like the same old same old that we've had for most of human history.Trailblazer said: When have we ever had a world commonwealth or a democratically elected world government based on principles of equity and justice?
No, I do not admit that because He has never been wrong.Trailblazer said: there has never been a new world order like the one that was envisioned by Baha'u'llah. The world has always changed but it has never been the way Baha'u'llah envisioned it will be.
KWED said: So you admit that he has always been wrong.
Still, can you show where it is prophesied that the promised one comes, and the calamities continue? Or even that the end-times "Christ" or promised one comes and is rejected and thrown in jail? In Revelation it sounds like the Christ, or the Lamb, comes in and defeats the bad guys.
Ok, quote one of their "prophesies" (with a reference to the source text), and we can see just how precise and accurate they are. When I investigated the details, That is how exactly the Prophecies work, from Jesus, Muhammad, the Bab and Baha'u'llah and previous Manifestation.

I envision a world order ruled over by giant, malevolent hamsters who farm humans for their thought energy. No, I do not admit that because He has never been wrong.
Do you know what the word envisioned means?
envision: imagine as a future possibility; visualize.
envision definition - Google Search
Baha'u'llah is not wrong unless a new world order as envisioned by Baha'u'llah is never spread out.
Nobody can know that whether or not it will be spread out or not because the future is not here yet.
So you admit that other people make accurate predictions of that kind that are not miraculous. They did not also offer and live the solutions.
I keep hoping that Alan Rickman will finally kick his arse one Xmas.John McClane beats the bad guys. Shocked.
Of course, we critical thinkers are John McClain.
It is for me to decide what you think? That is for you to decide.
