Are crystals magic?

I'm still interested in getting some definitions for those words.

I seriously can't fathom why it's so common in New Age movements to use completely undefined terms. Why string words together at all that don't have any cognitive meaning?

My question is why are we trying to put merit into New Age theories anyways? Why are we encouraging such thought? People cannot make their own meanings, nor change the past to make their own beliefs more plausible.

Because "New Age" movements are shallow understandings and practices based on old traditional practices that seem all mystical and stuff.

It's like how modern day hipsters have shallow interest in old school and vintage stuff, but dont actually have a proper understanding or appreciation of said things.

Can you give a clear, unequivocal, exhaustive definition for any of the following terms such that someone who is unfamiliar with them can thoroughly understand what they mean:

1) "Earth force" = Jesus Christ / Earth Goddess
2) "Stored energy" = Jesus Christ / Earth Goddess
3) "Natural forces" = Jesus Christ / Earth Goddess
4) "Spiritual power" = Jesus Christ / Earth Goddess

I hope that clears things up for you.

Please ask if you need further explanations for those terms.

Jesus was a girl?

It is an either or explanation.

Earth Goddess for Pagans/New Agers , Jesus for Christians.

I would say that Jesus is genderless outside of the Bible and his embodiment as a human male.

I'm quite into crystals and I'm interested to know why people who say they are tools of Satan etc.. think such things - is there any biblical reference that supports this idea?

How about other religions - Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, mainstream Christianity etc.. is there any place for crystals with you or in your religion?

I am quite happy to have a crystal in one hand and a religious text in the other - there seems to be some kind of force coming out of the crystal - could be Jesus, Pagan Force or other - any views on this?

Are they magic?

You are, of course, aware that common table salt also counts as crystals, which means that you have in all likelyhood eaten plenty of crystals... :sarcastic

Actually Jesus would probably only be spiritual power, and Jesus is nothing like the idea of an Earth Goddess. Compared to more naturalistic and spiritual ideas, Jesus barely gets within a mile of where the bar is set.

Does this apply to batteries as well?

And are you saying that natural forces are the same as spiritual power? And what's the difference between an Earth force and spiritual power?

I fear that what you have said is not clear, unequivocal nor exhaustive.

Salt doesn't count because it dissolves in water.

Also salt crystals are too small to have power.

Natural forces are the ones we can understand through science.

Spiritual Power is more like the consciousness that connects all humans and living things together with God.

Earth Force is the is the agent through which God effects physical change in the Universe.

(I have written quite a lot about The Force in the Evolution v. Creation section here)

Shouldn't this be an all or nothing area of the New Age belief system, either all crystals are magical or all crystals aren't ? A bag of salt crystals equal in mass to a single quartz Crystal should have the same magical powers. Is the Crystals Magical properties not affected by weight only size and resistance to water?

Salt doesn't count because it dissolves in water.

That seems like a terribly arbitrary condition, but no matter.
What about iron crystals?
Arsenic crystals?
How about liquid crystals?
I mean, seeing as any mineral can form crystal structures, where do you draw the line?
No offense, but I get the feeling that you are making this up as you go along... :sarcastic

Also salt crystals are too small to have power.

You can grow them just about as big as you like, and certainly big enough to hold in your hand.
Didn't you do this experiment in elementrary school?
Surely they must have taught you that a crystal is just a material with a repeating molecular structure in all directions, and that there are many many materials that fit the bill.
Again, I'm getting the feeling that you are just making this up as you go along.

of course the problem is that you are mixing science and crystal magic.

scientific properties have nothing to do with crystal power.

It is all Earth Force.

Some crystals have power and some don't - a lot is to do with how they relate to you personally.

Growing a salt crystal in a laboratory at school is not the same as a naturally occurring quartz crystal of suitable size, shape and power.

Liquid, iron and arsenic crystals are not the same either. (they need to be solid, stone and non-poisonous)

Not magic, but conductors of different energies;)
