Are you afraid of death??

One question Outhouse though off topic; what are your views of different places having different energies, often times Energies in which are attributes left behind from pre-existing Humans or maybe a place in which a large massacre has occurred; is it possible Energy created from certain situations my cause a reverberation through time leaving a "stamp" of sorts as a reminder of the occurrence or person?

I feel that is from the people making the claim of a energy, that cannot be tested.

I feel, if you changed the person reportings view on the history, you could change their results.

I dont believe in ghost

I am just being a bit difficult here only to prove a point; what about the research of Dark Matter? Dark Matter is a kind of nothing yet is still tested and very much Exists:p (Just keeping you on your toes:D)

im not saying we know everything.

dark matter is another desription of what constitutes the majority of the volume of space/time.

What happened to your computers memory, when you unplug it? can that information used previous to unplugging be harnessed??? by means of dark energy, or any other means?

Because i extremely dislike the idea of not being aware. I've always disliked sleeping even, ever since i was a kid. Assuming that nothing happens after death, which where i stand for lack of any other basis to stand upon personally, this is something that i extremely dislike.

That's how I feel about it. I resist the loss of consciousness and have always been the last one to go to sleep in any group.

I figure there'll be time enough to sleep later, after this life is over.

I have a instinctive fear of death like anyone, but I do not believe that death is the end of my existence so that I have had the courage at times to put myself in harm's way without an overwhelming fear of the consequences. Been lucky so far.

I don't really think about death much until someone I know dies or is facing death. My older sister recently had surgery to remove her cancerous bladder (she is a tobacco addict) so we've discussed the possibility of her dying. She admits to being frightened but it seems to be more a fear of the unknown rather than non-existence. She is fearful that her daughter won't be able to handle it as well, and bemoans being the object of so much attention.

She is a middling Christian so I quoted Isaiah 41:10: "Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not look anxiously about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, surely I will uphold you with my strong right hand," or something to that effect. It seemed to be a comfort to her.

Maybe not, but just Imagine the possibilities if we could

How can you discount the Scientific evidence of Energy; which does not "die" but manipulates in the way it transfers itself (it gets a new "job"). Maybe the better argument here would be if consciousness is given passage of existence in Death, would it not>?

That is the belief of the UBB. The energy created inside the body during life is what becomes the spirit in death.

Alsalam aleikum and hello everyone
there are 3 kinds of people reactions towards death:
1-people that are afraid even to think about death
2-people that are afraid of death because they had done bad things and want to do good deeds
3-finally the finest people who they know they did everything they can to satisfy God..
so..which kind are you?
Waleikum salam and hello too..
i'll be very happy on the time of my death, or i'll be very happy on the time when i'll leave this body permanently.:)

I do not have any problems with the idea of being dead - Hell we're all going to be dead in the end anyways. What I fear is the actual process of dying, and the trauma that comes with it.

Considering the amount of Energy used to allow simple brain function, I have a hard time believing our Energies simply just go to making dirt
So how much is this then? You are equating energy with what, exactly? Is lightning therefore more important than humans? Does an ants energy not go to making dirt?

This would require an explanation of why (or how) humans are different than other species, energy attribute reverberation thingy wise, and why they might leave a stamp and other species do not. Other species have the same "energy" as humans do as a natural phenomenon, you will have to show how their "stamp" will be different than our own. Also, why must it be a massacre? Is the location of where great pain might have been felt so much more important than where great joy might have been felt or is it just better mapped? Why would the sight of a murder shine brighter than the site of a conception unless you were wearing tinted shades?

Why do humans have to be different? Different species often evolve the same way (hence many species of mammal). Although it would only stand to reason that a dog spirit whould be able to communicate with people no better in the afterlife then it can during life.

As for the massacre example. I think they may be refering to a group of spirits having a better chance of having one able to communicate with the physical world. They could have just a easily used the example of the site of a natural disaster to make the same point. Usually, one would think that sites of joy would not have too much death accociated with it and therefore, limited spiritual activity.

It is my belief that although spirits have the ability to move around, many of them can't figure out how or don't want to for periods of time.

Do I fear dying? Well, I'd be pretty scared if someone pointed a loaded gun to my head.

Do I fear being dead? No.

I've died 4 times, but I would still be scared if someone pointed a loaded gun to my head.
Not afraid of dying, afraid of the pain before I did :D
(also, don't know if I could come back from that one and not sure of my condition if i did again)
