Are you sinless?

Any sinless people here? And not in the 'it isn't my fault because I don't have freewill etc. type answer, but actual, sinless people.

An idea from some other threads discussing original sin, sinful nature.

The only sinless people are the dead.Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I do not subscribe to the concepts of evil or sin. I am therefore without sin. :)

Honestly, more folks should try this way of dealing with reality. There is so much less guilt for starters.

"Sin", not being a concept in my belief path, therefore not something even having a definition, is something I cannot have. Therefore, according to my beliefs, my life, my definitions in my life...I am "sinless". It being a word that means nothing and all.

A lot of religious words and concepts need specific definitions for the discussion...I think sin is pretty high up there on the list.

A sin is when one breaks or goes against the laws of their chosen deity. I have no deity, meaning I have never sinned. Making me sinless.

Sin in my life translates to my transgressions against self and others...against God.

Acknowledging fault - and giving a damn enough to learn from error to be a better person to self and others isn't a guilt-filled life. To the contrary, I am most free when I see myself as I really am, take ownership of who I am and let go of what needs to be let go of.

Acknowledging and casting the crap out to let the light in...to live free.

I would say that developing fetuses are also "sinless". The word "sinless", of course, isn't one I would use.

I was, not too long ago. I'm getting better at avoiding sin-- but not by my own determination; God is moving me forward.

It's not incredibly difficult when you realize that God is forgiving, even to the point that He disregards your previous record.

Lawl. Good sir, you do realize that's something someone with lots of guilt and sin would say, right?

The concept of sin is weird to me, but I suppose I am indeed sinless. As are many people, I must assume.

Are you saying that those who have no concept of sin only have no such concept because they are wracked with it? That makes no sense you realize. I do hope that's not what you meant.

No. Sin is generally a concept foreign to Deism. There are no divinely ordained set of rules to follow. Only our own conciences and the laws of our land. So yes, in that sense I am sinless, because sin doesn't exist. But if we are talking about me always following my conscience perfectly, then no.

Beats me, I don't frolic with people who suffer from these types of delusions. :)

I am definitely not sinless. I sin every single day and so does everyone else on earth. The only two people who were ever sinless, in my beliefs, is Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Even for Catholicism it seems a bit much to say every person on earth sins every single day. :areyoucra
