I'm in Louisville, KY. We're experiencing an artic front in large portions of US. Thanks to Canada!
I think you mean arctic. An "artic", at least in English slang, is an articulated lorry, what Americans call a semi-trailer truck.;)

I almost forgot, you down under people are in the summer now. :D
It rarely ever gets to 95F here in summer but never with 90% humidity, more like 30%.

Really? You think Canada manufactures the world's weather? You've got that wrong, lady -- we don't manufacture it, we suffer from it, a whole lot more than you do!:(

It's actually starting to warm up. We're supposed to be in the teens tomorrow and it will keep climbing from there. We're supposed to be in the 50s by New Year's.

Sorry, but we have to blame someone. And besides, we already have a song all set.

In fact I am throwing my hat into the ring. Trump's wall on Mexico got him elected. Just wait until you see my wall on the Canadian border. Bigger, better, taller. In fact WAY taller. It is not to keep immigrants out. It will be to keep cold weather out.

And we already have a song that will only need slight editing to include the wall:

Mfg. Because you are jealous of us in the tropics
Rubbish! I love the changing of the seasons -- one day I swin in this pond, next day I skate on it. One day we have 9 hours of sunlight, another day we have 19.

At the equator, the day is 12 hours long, and so is the night -- all year. How boring! You don't have forests that turn into artscapes as colours go from greens to amazing yellow, oranges, reds and purples.

I would never give up my joy of the change of seasons --- hell, the best times of my life were always fall when the leaves turned and I went back to school. And we played football in the waning year, and hockey in the winter, and track and field in the spring. The tropics don't even have fall, winter or spring. And I don't know what that says about the importance of summer, that everybody in the northern hemisphere thinks is near to heaven.

May as well like what you have.

If want changeable weather, we do get typhoons.

We do get 4 seasons here, tho it near so
extreme.

I grew up in the tropics, so I found my years in
NYC uncomfortable.

I love the cloudscape esp from my flat
at Repulse Bay.
I'm sure the heat and humidity in summer
would be a bit much for you tho I'm completely
comfy in it, so when you visit. Check the seasonal temp. This time of year 12C is about
average.

FWIW, I would never want to live in a tropical climate where it is hot and sunny all year long, too much like California, which I exited for Washington state in 1988.
