Ask Any RF Member a Question...

Often enough, the astonishing answer is that I'm interested in how people will respond to the questions. I know how simple that must sound, but that's my most frequent motive. It especially interests me when people answer in ways I didn't expect. I like diversity for its own sake.

My second most frequent motive is to alleviate my own boredom.

I'm honestly surprised that, in a brilliant thread such as this one that provides everyone with an opportunity to ask questions of each other, more people are not taking advantage of that opportunity.
Heh. Takes time and effort just to keep up with everyone else, especially you:p

I like to hear about peoples' experiences, more than I like to hear about their ideas about stuff, although sometimes that's very interesting, too.:D

good thing im not people. ...wait

Actually, I notice everyone is staying away from asking me about my paintings. Obviously, there are limits to the sort of pain most of us are willing to suffer in the pursuit of knowing more about each other.

@beenherebeforeagain If you had to chose between having a sense of mission or purpose in life, or being happy, which would you pick? Why? And what is your weight calculated in aardvarks?
I think I would rather be happy. A friend of mine, Elwood P. Dowd, noted that he had tried being both clever and pleasant in life, and recommended pleasant. Having a sense of purpose has been nice, but I finally have learned to be mostly happy, and I much prefer it. And Harvey, by the way, certainly agrees!:p

I haven't recently reviewed the conversion factor, but as I recall, it would result in my weight being 1.3 aardvarks, plus or minus 0.1. I'm a bit less than one aardvark in length (including tail).(Not my tail, the aardvark's)(I don't have a tail):rolleyes:

Why don't you post some?

What an excellent idea! It's almost the sort of idea that I myself might have! :D

Actually, I'll PM you with some pics because I wouldn't want to scare off any lurkers who might be thinking of registering and who are reading this thread (that's my polite way of saying that work lacks much intrinsic interest).

Don't be so sure about that!:p

@MysticSang'ha We all know that if you had to chose between @Jayhawker Soule and me, you'd pick me without even a moment's hesitation, and for obvious reasons, despite the fact Jay has the clear edge in compassion, zest for living, intelligence, sophistication, insight, conversational ability, taste in wine, knowledge of the arts, and other such largely irrelevant and entirely trivial factors --- but what is your vision for Rush Dance Studio going forward?

@icehorse How did you pick your username, and do you think that highly humane or moral people tend to share similar character traits beyond their moral inclinations. That is, do they tend to be, say, ambitious, or kind, or clever, or to have some other set of character traits?

Traveling company, expansion into more practice spaces, more venues to perform at, and eventually a filming studio with green screen for video projects.

And the biggest reason I'd choose you is so I could go on that one date with you (that one with the clown bicycle fantasy).

And to get my money from you.

methylatedghosts

Can't brain. Has dumb.
@methylatedghosts are you happy with there promotions.

Super happy! I've been in it 2 weeks and so far have heard nothing but positive feedback. Due for a meeting with HR and the owners in a week or two, and i'm feeling optimistic. It's challenging, and i'm really enjoying it. Only one or two small bumps in the road that I managed to smooth out with a little creativity, so yes. All is well and i'm happy :)

Well... I have a few Icelandic horses :)

As for highly moral people - it's their mirror neurons, baby! (It's an interesting question, maybe too serious for this thread?)

Even to this day, I have never laughed so hard at anything posted on RF as I did when you posted your description of our date.

And to get my money from you.

Money? What money? Surely you are not referring to that middling sum of 800 dollars that I owe you for lap dances? Why, such a trifle would be beneath the dignity of either one of us to worry about.

@Revoltingest Other than "capitalist" what kind of engineer are you, and do you count "software" as a true kind of engineering?
