I understand what you are saying, just keep in mind that the perfection mentioned is not "us" as we are here today. This is a reference to our Soul, as in itself is a part of God.
This is an excellent answer, thank you, this is for the time that the Apostle Paul said, the time when we will change our corruptible physical existence for an incorruptible one, that is to say eternal. In our earthy passage we are as the word of God declares very good, but not perfect, God will make us perfect as it says “Therefore you shall be perfect” those that make it to be in His care will be made perfect, free of any possibility of corruption as you said “our Soul, as in itself is a part of God” that is perfect and incorruptible, this side of the curtain all we can be is good as all that God created.

Can you please show us scriptural evidence affirming your view point?

Sure, I will do some C&P from the book:

It was AFTER these creations that in Genesis 1-26 God actually created mankind:

Then God said “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness”.

This was when Adam was first created; it is further seen in Genesis 2-7 where Adam is actually given a soul:

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.

******

What God breathed into Adam, was the very Essence of God Himself; this is proven in SURAH 32 – 9:

But He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him something of His Spirit. And He gave you the faculties of hearing and sight and feeling and understanding: little thanks do you give!

1 Corinthians 6 – 19 helps explain this:

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own.

****

SURAH 56 – 61, also shows reference to your Soul:

From changing your Forms and creating you again in Forms that you do not know.

I would like to show that the Bible, as well as Jesus, tried many times to explain to us that we are actually “OF” God. Here are a few examples as proof of this:

1 Corinthians 3 – 16:

Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

Ephesians 4 – 6:

One God and Father of all, Who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

1 John 4 – 4:

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He Who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

(Meaning your Spirit or “Soul” is greater then your physical body)

1 John 4 - 13:

By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.

1 Corinthians 15 – 47:

The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from Heaven.

(Meaning the first was an animal,[Made of atoms] the second is this man acquiring a Soul)

Luke 17 – 20 and 21:

Now when He asked was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; Nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within YOU.”

Here Jesus even refers to those that follow God’s plan as “sons of God” in Luke 20 – 36:

“Nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are SONS OF GOD, being sons of the resurrection.

And yet again, firmly undeniable proof, as there are no other words on earth that could say it better then John 15 – 20: (Jesus speaking)

“At that day you will know that I am in My father, and YOU IN ME, and I IN YOU.”

In Revelation God even candidly proclaims you as His Son/Daughter, Revelation 21 - 6 and 7:

And He said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and HE SHALL BE MY SON.

He who overcomes what? The temptations of satan, it is so blatantly obvious, there are no other words that can say this better: YOU ARE A SON OR DAUGHTER OF GOD!(Literally)

I will do the best I can to answer them in a timely manner. I understand this is a religious forum, even though I am not religious, I can still answer questions about God.

I noticed that the specific forum rules here state: "This forum is for religious discussion and learning. If you don't quite agree with what has been posted then start a thread in the debate section."

As such I am not here to debate anything, if you are confused or do not understand the answer, please let me know and I will do what I can to explain the answer further.
(Little me - I would leave, the 1st. time someone turned nasty, ugly & vile.)

Thus, GOD Bless you for caring... enough to do :angel2: this.
Good for you, and any sincere :) Seekers...

What God breathed into Adam, was the very Essence of God Himself; this is proven in SURAH 32 – 9:
This is not in accordance with Islamic understanding of God's Oneness
and certainly not scriptural, true God is Omnipresent but not in His Essence, if this were the case God would be a part of His creation and therefore would not be Unique,
which is in essence the teachings of Islam.
But He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him something of "His" Spirit. And He gave you the faculties of hearing and sight and feeling and understanding: little thanks do you give!

The messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord,
and so do the believers. Each one belives in Allah, "His" Angels, "His" Books,
and "His" messengers. surah 2, 285.
The word ''HIS'' in the above verses as well as yours, shows that these things belong
to God, and are created by Him, NOT in any way that it is a part of Him.
The Sririt here means Adams spirit that God created, i hope thats clear.

SURAH 56 – 61, also shows reference to your Soul:
From changing your Forms and creating you again in Forms that you do not know.

This does not prove that God Has a Spirit, and that He is a part of His creation.
Sorry little of the topic,Do you belive Jesus(pbuh) was crucified or not?

Funny then how early Christian painted pictures of him then, and that he looks a lot like Zeus. And why can't anyone provide a picture of God, is he camera shy?

When you bring up what Christians have done in the past that deals with religion.(I am only answering questions about God) When you "see" God let me know in a picture.
