It already hasn't.Er, yes it will.
A single number would not suffice, but collections can, just have they sufficed for describing everything else.
I think the blue ones are not beliefs in strict sense. They are factual knowledge based on agreed references.
The red one is different.

Singularities are perfectly describable. You merely have to be careful about the questions you ask of them.So the concept of a singularity...the one...doesn't work for you?
In the beginning...........
All three statements follow the same form. If the "therefore" work for one, it works for all three.

Got an equation for that?
There's your singularity. If you plot that function, you end up with a funnel shape. I could tell you the slope of the funnel at any point you wanted, except if you asked me about the center of the funnel, where there is no slope. Just because there isn't a slope there doesn't mean that the whole thing can't exist.
A singularity is a purely geometrical concept. And this is where an atheist would call my thinking...mythical.
For a singularity to be singular....no geometry allowed.
A singularity is a purely geometrical concept.
You can do geometry on the empty set, it just doesn't get you anywhere. However, I think the singularity you are thinking of isn't in the empty set. It's the point of a 4D cone, and so it makes absolutely no sense to say that there are no points. It is not.
More than one point is needed for geometry.
You have no function with only one point.
Except, a possible claim of existence.

I believe that I'm an atheist, therefore being an atheist is a belief.
I believe that I'm 6 feet tall, therefore being six feet tall is a belief.
I believe that I speak English, therefore speaking English is a belief.
:yes:May be. I shall, however go by colours.
I know that I'm 6 feet tall, I have measured my height.
I speak English. That is how i interact.
I believe that God that theists talk of does not exist.
Anyway, there is no big issue. Since you may still believe that you know that God does not exist.

In the beginning......
ancient man imagined the origins of mankind, he came up with a myth that he expanded on, he had heard from previous generation of people who lived in the levant.
A sleeping man is cut open....his rib removed....and he lived?
Really?
And yet....nowadays....we know it could happen.
So what's holding you back?
And yet so much of it can actually happen.
Picture yourself sitting at a campfire .....listening to the story about the Garden.
When you get to the part about cutting a man open and removing a rib....
can you believe it?
If you think you have problems going a long for the ride....with all that you think you know....
how about those 'simple' people of so long ago?
A sleeping man is cut open....his rib removed....and he lived?
Really?
And yet....nowadays....we know it could happen.
They believed.
They didn't know what you do.....but they believed.
So what's holding you back?
You really want to know what's holding me back from becoming a Christian?
Christians.
Yes, really. Your post above is a prime example of why Christians are so off-putting. Can't Christ save you without making you believe a bunch of bronze age campfire blarney first? If not, why not?
Not about Christ or salvation.
