Atheist Desire to Disprove God

And you would deny believers...before Christ.....their faith?

Each time you post ....all I ever see is a cop out...or redirection.
Really?
When did she deny a believer their faith?

Is your faith so weak as to see any disagreement with it an attack on it?
Is their faith so weak that they see any disagreement with it as an attack on it?

Seems to me that if said faith is so weak they should really avoid going out of their way to present it to complete strangers.

But then we come back to the whole Christian attitude "the more my faith is attacked, the truer my faith must be".
Sad that so many Christians take this to mean they must see attack and persecution where it does not exist.

Cop out?
Funny cause every time I see you make your threats from god I think the very same thing.
Why not just preach your sermon and fore go the threats?
Or is belief under threat better than no belief at all?

I agree with Alceste.
The followers of God are the biggest incentive to reject god.

May be. I shall, however go by colours. :)

I know that I'm 6 feet tall, I have measured my height.
I speak English. That is how i interact.

I believe that God that theists talk of does not exist.

Anyway, there is no big issue. Since you may still believe that you know that God does not exist.
But here's the thing: while I do "believe that the God that theists talk of does not exist", this isn't what makes me an atheist.

... although it's not like there's a single "God" that all theists believe in anyhow. Pick any God (or god) you like; if rejecting it means being an "atheist", then most theists are "atheists" right along with me.

True. That is what belief is -- a mental concept. The thing in itself is unknowable. Moreover, a single belief may be conglomerate of several analyses like: I believe that God that atanu talks of does not exist. I also believe that God that Wombat talks of of does not exist etc. etc.

I agree with you that no two minds have same belief. If two minds held identical beliefs then they would be one mind.

And yet so much of it can actually happen.

Picture yourself sitting at a campfire .....listening to the story about the Garden.

When you get to the part about cutting a man open and removing a rib....
can you believe it?

If you think you have problems going a long for the ride....with all that you think you know....
how about those 'simple' people of so long ago?

A sleeping man is cut open....his rib removed....and he lived?
Really?

And yet....nowadays....we know it could happen.

They believed.
They didn't know what you do.....but they believed.

So what's holding you back?
Lol, you forgot to add the part where the "rib" turned into a woman.............yeah not happening.

I don't care what other people believe, as long as they keep it out of secular institutions.

So you do realize.....
your number system can't reach that far.
Of course it can. It simply doesn't tell you anything you didn't already know.

Infinity exists...the 'moment' a secondary point is made.

For the singularity to be singular....no secondaries allowed.

Now then.....how about that void?
In the beginning......
Void in the sense you are looking for does not and never did exist. There is always a future, or a past.

Do atheists care about fancy arrangments for their corpse when they die?

Do atheists give a wit if thhey are, when they die, are thrown into a paupers grave?

Or do atheists desire pomp and circumstance to herald their deaths in a ritualised furneral.

It would seem that an atheist should care not a fig for how their carnal body would be desposed of.

It would seem that most body parts donated to science would come from atheists.

Thats one of the big problems though, hearing about God's love and Jesus's sacrifice every day when i walk through Uni makes me want to stick my head in a bucket of acid.

Nope, don't give two figs. I'll probably leave instruction for me to be cremated, simply out of the opinion that burying people is a waste of good land. I'll leave it up to others to have a ceremony for me if they want. After all, funerals are for the living, not for the dead.

Oh, but he was asking about atheists.

You expressed in the other thread that you had no belief that you were an atheist.
