I do not come to forums to coddle people, but I an not rude. I respect everyone, no matter what they believe or disbelieve, and people know that. And I just tell the truth about what Baha'is believe as per what Baha'u'llah wrote.I'm asking you. Do you think that kind of an answer from a Baha'i would make a person in another religion feel as if their religion and beliefs are understood and respected by Baha'is?
I'm asking you. Do you think that people from other religions care if Baha'is understand their religions? I have not seen that demonstrated. This is something that you are projecting onto other people.
I do know what you are saying and YOU are the one who is calling Baha'is (mainly me) horrible, I am not calling anyone horrible. In my opinion you are projecting what you feel onto me and you are angry because I won't do what you want me to do, explain all the prophecies and all the religions to you. Then there is... "It is only YOU who complains because you think that Baha'is are responsible to help you learn about the older religions, but we aren't."
In my opinion that's a horrible thing for a Baha'i to say. You know what I'm saying.
Who mentions other religions? Who mentions prophecies? YOU, constantly. I do not mention other religions and if I mention prophecies I always back up why I believe they were fulfilled. If you mention prophecies, then you should have the knowledge about that prophecy and the religion that it came from. If you don't, then stop saying that they have been "fulfilled". You mention the other religions, then you should know something about them. If you don't and don't care, then stop mentioning them.
Why should I? Give me one good reason why I should. Who don't you ask the believers in those religions about their religions? They are the ones who should know about their religions. You aren't helping me learn anything about the other religions.
A problem with Baha'u'llah Why should He have mentioned two older religions that no longer apply to this age?If you don't know that's one thing, but if Baha'u'llah failed to mention two of the major religions in the world, then the problem is with him.
Baha'is have no need to figure out how Hinduism and Buddhism ties in with the Baha'i Faith and the other Abrahamic religions. That is YOUR GIG, not ours, but you keep trying to make it a Baha'i responsibility. And now his fallible followers are supposed to figure out how Hinduism and Buddhism ties in with the Baha'i Faith and the other Abrahamic religions?
