Bakers Who Refused Lesbian Couple A Wedding Cake WILL Have To Pay $135,000

I believe judges make mistakes but that does not mean they have evil intent. People who make death threats are being mean but until they actually do some harm I would let them off with a warning. The Lesbians inflicted real pain and suffering out of hate and that I despise.

What about the pain and suffering inflicted on the Lesbian couple by the bakers? Do you hate that as well?

The baker shouldn't have broken the law, and then go even further by doing the things that caused "pain and suffering" to the lesbian couple. Someone inflicted harm upon them, and they relied upon our legal system to make judgements, rather than making judgements for themselves going vigilante over the wrongs done to them.

Wow, you appear to have everything backwards. Perhaps you should look into some of the details of the case before jumping to a faulty conclusion.

I just can't relate to the thought process that would dismiss death threats as not causing "actual harm," but say that a couple who merely asked a business to treat them fairly and legally "inflicted real pain and suffering out of hate."

The villains in this story are the bakers and their threat-making Christian friends.

If you disagree because you sympathize with the bakers, consider the possibility that you're part of the problem, too.

Edit: and I bet you wouldn't be so dismissive of death threats if it was your family who was being threatened.

I find it amazing when people violate the laws as an act of civil disobedience and then do not realize that does not get them off from getting punished. Civil disobedience can right unjust laws. This law was not unjust. Their violation of the law was just a jerk move on their part and then they compounded that with various personal attacks. Not a wise move to say the least.
