Frak the rest of them, it's got to be Galactica.
The 70's version or the new version?

You forgot Stargate SG-1
I'm English, so no. I find it hard to suspend disbelief when watching both shows, so they just end up seeming a bit daft to me.Why? Too British?

I watched the pilot and the next few episodes when they first aired over here a couple of years ago, today I watched a newer one and it seemed about the same, so if you liked the first series you'll probably like the rest.It's really easy to suspend disbelief for me, but that's because I love seeing the creatures. Any excuse they come up with for us to interact with dinos and such will get a pass from me. But then again, I've only seen half of the first season, so I suppose it's possible they could disappoint at some point, but not so far.

We've made better sci-fi, IMO, like Torchwood and Invasion: Earth, have you seen them?
Torchwood is the adult-orientated spin-off, I'd look it up if you enjoyed Dr. Who.No, but I'm fond of Dr Who.
Lol, she's partly the reason I can't suspend disbelief, she used to be in a pop band called S Club 7, I can't take her seriously enough even though she's not a bad actress.I agree that there is better sci-fi than Primeval but I still like it so far. It's no more or less realistic than any of the others. So far the plot line with the ex-wife running around on her mysterious errands has me coming back for more. Plus, the blonde running around in her underwear is a nice bonus too.

I think Red Dwarf managed it best;Ah, I can see that. I'd never heard of her so I just get to enjoy the view. The dynamic between her and the other kid is entertaining though not all that original. Still, hard to make a boy meets girl story that's original these days.
It's the old, old story. Droid meets droid. Droid becomes chameleon. Droid loses chameleon, chameleon turns into blob, droid gets blob back again, blob meets blob, blob goes off with blob, and droid loses blob, chameleon and droid.
I think Red Dwarf managed it best;
Doctor who!
Not only the oldest... but one of the most ground breaking. And mostly done on the super cheap....
And yes, it had two big screen movies, a theater production, a couple of very successful spin-offs, audio productions, cartoons, comic books, magazines, and it's a cultural icon in many parts of the world.

Stargate FTW. Atlantis is better than SG-1, Rodney is by far the best character in the whole franchise.
And i love Firefly, but i'm not counting it because the ending movie ruined everything.
