Behold, I am Jesus Christ the Son of God. I created the heavens and the earth, and all things...

Jesus didn't create anything. He was a mortal man born of woman through less than appropriate means most likely. He grew up, was a rebel, died and now rots in his grave like every other human being that has one.
So basically you believe we all rot in the grave (hell) for eternity ???

I didn't say that. I said that Jesus is currently rotting in his grave. I said nothing concerning eternity, nor did I say anything about hell.

If Jesus never rose from the grave (tomb), then we would all be rotting in the grave (hell) for eternity.

So if you don't believe in Jesus Christ, and his principles, and strive to do them, how will you overcome death and hell ???

That quote from 3 Nephi 9 in the Book of Mormon is from 34 A.D. and was RECORDED on the AMERICAN continent.

They didn't know about Jesus Christ either, but Jesus testified to them that he existed, and had CREATED the HEAVENS and the EARTH and EVERYTHING in them.

3 Nephi 9

Scriptures are not just recordings of events, but they're also recordings of revlations given to man, from Jesus Christ, about Jesus Christ, and who he is.

Man has MESSED with the Bible and taken out KEY scriptures.
That's right. Two completely different traditions from two completely different periods in history. The one has nothing to do with the other, exegetically speaking. The OT was written prior to 500 b.c.e., on the Asian continent. Jesus didn't testify to them until after the writings were completed. When he did, apparently he didn't tell them those things.

Man has messed with the Bible. That's because the Bible is a human construct, and has always been subject to editing. Have "key scriptures" been eliminated? I doubt it.

How does simply believing in him mean you overcome death? It doesn't make any sense. And don't say, "Because the Bible tells me so" that makes even less sense.

We don't overcome death. God in Christ has overcome death, though.

That's your opinion.

Overcome death? Last I checked, people still die everyday. Even people who believe in Jesus. No one overcomes death, we are all going to die someday.

As for hell, I'm not worried about places that don't exist.

Jesus Christ testified of himself in the Old Testament, but men have taken all references to Jesus Christ out of the Old Testament.

Recorded about 550 B.C.

2 Nephi 25
19 For according to the words of the prophets, the Messiah cometh in six hundred years from the time that my father left Jerusalem; and according to the words of the prophets, and also the word of the angel of God, his name shall be Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

20 And now, my brethren, I have spoken plainly that ye cannot err. And as the Lord God liveth that brought Israel up out of the land of Egypt, and gave unto Moses power that he should heal the nations after they had been bitten by the poisonous serpents, if they would cast their eyes unto the serpent which he did raise up before them, and also gave him power that he should smite the rock and the water should come forth; yea, behold I say unto you, that as these things are true, and as the Lord God liveth, there is none other name given under heaven save it be this Jesus Christ, of which I have spoken, whereby man can be saved.

2 Nephi 26: 12
And as I spake concerning the convincing of the Jews, that Jesus is the very Christ, it must needs be that the Gentiles be convinced also that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God;

All that we see on earth is a refelction of either a hell or a heaven (paradise) that awaits us.

What kind of hell or heaven have you created in your life ???

This is ridiculous. You, who purportedly believe that Jesus was a flesh-and-blood human being, must, therefore, also believe that he lived at a point in time. How could he, then, "testify of himself in the OT," when a) he wasn't born yet, and b) did not write any of the OT?

How does this prove anything? The OT Tradition is older than that.

What does this post have to do with Jesus having created the earth, according to you?

In the Qur'an, Allah tells the Christians that Jesus was His prophet that He blessed with him with the Holy Spirit (as a sign to his people). In addition Allah tell's them to compare the birth/creation of Jesus to that of Adam and Eve (PBUT). I am curious, what your thoughts are on this topic (am hoping that it is still related to the thread

Has even less to do with Xy than FFH's opinions.
