One of the great discoveries in biblical archaeology is the " Mari Archive." The ancient city of Mari, located in northern Syria, was a thriving metropolis during 2800-1760 B.C. Mari was the capitol of the biblical Amorites. Amorites were spread far and wide throughout the ancient near east, including the hill country of Canaan vanquished by the Israelites ( Num. 13:29, Josh. 10:6). The french have been excavating Mari almost continuously since 1933.

The major discovery was an enormous palace covering 6 acres, an archive of about 15,000 texts was discovered, which provided an insight into common social, economic and legal practices of that time, which all perfectly match what the bible records.

Again, stunning evidence.

Nuzi was a Hurrian administrative center not far from the Hurrian capital at Kirkuk in northern Iraq. The Hurrians are equivalent to the Horites in the old testament, also called Hivites and Jebusites. Archaeologist discovered there more than 5,000 archives spanning six generations which deal with the social, econimic, religious and legal insititutions of the Hurrians.

The tablets match exactly what is recorded in the bible. Such as adoption for childless couples, Gen. 15:2. Children by proxy, Gen. 16, 21:2. Inheritance rights, GEn. 25:29. Marriage arrangements, Gen. 28.

Stunning proof of the bible again, and of its God. The " Nuzi Tablets."

You know, finding the actual bones of the High Priest who judged Christ, is just academic that he lived, and people still don't believe. I am convinced then that deception is proof of God, blindness is proof of him, the way that the human consciousness can so readily be deceived is definte evidence of God.

The earth itself is constantly spitting up evidence of God, and peoples brain is ignorant of it. Its like they have a box on their head and nothing can see God, who is standing right there in so many ways.

Well yes, thats why Atheism itself is proof of God to me, the stunning reality that God can create a whole universe and humans, and then turn around and blind them from his existence, is a stunning power. Its awesome how he can manipulate the human consciousness. Manipulation then is proof of God, thats where it comes from. Adam and Eve were manipulated to do what they did, God used Eve to sway Adam, and used satan to influence them both. They all got used, and all of us are being used by him.

And we are VERY fortunate of that because Gods intent is ALWAYS for the Good of humanity. We may not understand the what and why he does what he does, but that is insignificant, its nothing any of us could do about it anyhow.

The Past is proof of God, the present is proof of God, the future is proof of God. Time is proof of God. Absolute control is evidence of God. History is proof of God, God is ALL things and in all things.

Thus, all things are proof of him. People who scream there is no proof of God are TOTALLY blind. The proofs of God are endless, just as endless as he.

When they found King Solomons Copper mines that was a stunning find. King Solomon was a man God personally communicated with, which is very rare. A thrilling proof of God, sitting right there in the sand for years. Nelson Glueck found it, and he used the bible itself to find it. He followed the biblical description of an ancient city- " Ezion-geber"... beside Eloth on the shore of the Red Sea in the land of Edom ( 1Kings 9:26).

This man used the bible to find these mines.

Its academic, the bible is a true book.

Well yes, but Atheism is much more. In Romans 11:32;" For God has SHUT up all in disobedience, that he may( Later) show mercy to ALL! Atheism is an intentional shutting off of people from God, BY God. Atheist are Atheist, because thats what God wants them to be, and Christians don't understand this, and they misjudge Atheist. Atheism is a complette shutting off from God, a total blindness to him.

Thats WHY they can't see the proof, their not supposed to see it. All things are new age, but not to God, its nothing new to him, only to us. We don't even understand ourselves. Atheist don't understand themselves, neither do Christians.

Thats WHY we need God.

I never thought I'd live to see the day that I agree with an Atheist. Yes. God is temporarily blinding the vast majority of humanity of his purpose for now until His Son returns with true Christians to take over and rule this sick world for 1,000 years. After the millenium, all those who ever lived, including you, will be resurrected to physical life and have your eyes and mind finally opened to the truth. Anyway, we're getting away from the topic.
